BFP? Due to start IVF in 3 days!

I'm 9dpo and I got this this morning

We've been TTC since April 2021 and I'm about to turn 40

We've paid for our IVF treatment and are due to start on the second day of my period later this week. Today is the last day I can pull out and get a refund

Is this too faint for 9dpo and likely to be a chemical? I didn't test until 13dpo with DS and it was a clear pink line

Photo taken after 3-4 minutes and is faint pink in person so I'm fairly sure it's not an indent or evap but I'm quite concerned it's too faint

Oh I'm terrible at these. Assuming if it's private there isn't a huge wait to start again? In which case I would possibly cancel, but what a position to be in... fingers crossed!

But actually I've had a chemical and the line was faint, I can't remember how many dpo though so I'm very unhelpful... definitely clearer on my successful pregnancies

Ring the clinic and ask. You can't start on the second day of your period if there's no period i.e. you're pregnant, and they may well want you to wait after a chemical pregnancy (if that's what this is, but those lines look good to me for 9dpo) anyway. My clinic have a 3 bleed rule after a chemical. They also wouldn't charge me if I got pregnant (except for the medication, which you won't be using if pregnant so can save for a future round or some clinics are happy for you to sell it back to them). I would ring the clinic and explain and ask for another day to do another test. I am sure they would understand given the circumstances, surely?!

Thanks everyone. My problem is that we're through Access Fertility and not the clinic direct and as far as I can understand from the T&Cs, getting pregnant naturally isn't a accepted reason to withdraw and get a refund 😢

I didn't have a line at 9 dpo (only at 12 dpo), and I personally don't believe the tests can indicate a CP or not. I think it's fairly common scenario so just ring the clinic and ask what to do. Hopefully they will at least let you delay, in case it doesn't stick and you still want to do IVF.

I don't know about Access Fertility but it sounds like you're going to need to pull out for this cycle and see how those tests play out.x

My problem is if it is a chemical then it will be classed as a MC and due to having had one previously, I'd no longer be eligible for the Access program as you can't have more than 1 MC

Can you ask to move your cycle due to perosnal reasons and see how it pans out?

It could well be the beginning of a line…what a dilemma though, maybe trying to postpone for one cycle for personal reasons as someone suggested is the best option? Fingers crossed for this line to get stronger!

I spoke to Access Fertility and they've agreed to refund me as long as I pay the clinic directly for the blood tests and nurses appointment so I'm just waiting to hear back from them at the moment

My 11dpo test was much darker this morning on Easy @ Home but my FRER was quite faint so I'm still not convinced it's a sticky one but I bought it off Amazon so might be fake?

It's still so early to see a line in tests.
I had a BFN at 11dpo and postive 2 days later. My son is now nearly 4 ❤️
