Every since I had my daughter in 2021 my periods have been all over the place, generally sitting between 32 and 35 days cycle but as short as 28. Pre child I was 28 days every month. I also now getting spotting that starts about 2 days prior to my period starting.
I am only 2 months into trying but this month I started to have odd spotting from 6dpo and now on 10dpo which my period due at some point in the next week. Could I possibly have low progesterone? Or could it be vitamin/mineral deficiency (I have been on iron supplements ever since my last pregnancy).
I am considering doing a fertility checker like Hertility, has anyone had experience with Hertility or something similar?

Hi @Mummysparrow,

I had this but spotted from earlier in my cycle, sometimes straight after ovulation until my period. Progesterone levels came back on the lower side but still 'fine' but managed to get referred to gynaecology as I had a chemical pregnancy and I suspected it could have been due to my bleeding and the consultant prescribed me progesterone pessaries to take from my next positive test (which was later that day!). I had been bleeding again and it immediately stopped and I carried to term. Not had a period since giving birth as I'm BF so not sure whether the bleeding will return but might be worth seeing your GP about?

I did also do a Hertility test prior to trying to conceive and everything came back fine on that too, from memory I don't think it tests progesterone.
