I'm sure this has been done to death - can't find previous threads but would welcome any links - it's a couple of years since I've used one (at that point I think First Response seemed the earliest, ClearBlue the clearest), and I'm sure things have changed.

Thanks.

This is a very old thread, but if you've come across it while on the hunt for pregnancy test recommendations, we've recently updated our guide to the best pregnancy tests. All options have been tried, tested and approved by Mumsnetters as well as maternity experts to reflect the best options currently available. Hope it's helpful!

...Boots digital are good. I tested positive with them at cd25 and cd27 (today). Best of luck.

So glad to find you all, thought I was going mad.I am 3, nearly 4 days late for the 1st time after 18 months of trying. I have a 28dc always and am never late. Have done 2 tests, clear blue and early response and both are - . Have I tested too early, or am I not pregnant?? Has anyone else had this experience, please help.

it depends when you ovulated. Just because you have 28 day cycle doesn't mean you ovulate in the middle of it. If you ovulated late, then it might be too early to test - they say to be reliable, 14 days after ovulation, so if you don't know when that was, it's just a guessing game & you should try again in a couple of days. Very hard to keep sane during this time tough. good luck
