Anyone else hoping for BFP this week?

I'm on cycle 3, due on tomorrow. I have tested today but it was negative. Weirdly I have no period symtoms (apart from being moody AF the past week).
I know it's only cycle three but I really thought it would happen quickly. I have been pregnant twice before (I have one daughter) but both were surprises. I've never tried to conceive before and have been using Flo and ovulation sticks - any tips? Should be be putting my legs up in the air after sex etc?
Would love to hear from other people who are on, or have been on, this journey!

@sorcha1292 hiya, yes so the flashing means that your Estrogen has started rising & you LH (peak) will be soon. So carry on DTD alternate nights & then when you get your peak DTD 3 consecutive nights ☺️👌🏼🤞🏼
I’m good thank you. Pretty exhausted most of the time but I’m ok. Just waiting for my first scan to confirm everything is good 🤞🏼 x

@sorcha1292 I have booked an early scan for 10wks which will be 9th March as I’m telling my Mum & Sisters on Mother’s Day & wanted a scan picture to show them ☺️ x

@sorcha1292 yes my first. I’m 37 & didn’t think I wanted children/had accepted I wouldn’t…until I had a meltdown in August & realised that I was never going to be a Mum! Lol…so here we are now. What about you? x

I have a 7 year old. She was a 'surprise', I was still at university when I had her in my early 20s. So this is the first time I'm properly trying, and with a different partner 😊

Yes, but I've been waiting over a year now to get pregnant again after our mc. So it feels like it may never happen, fingers crossed for everyone, I may test tomorrow or day after!

@sorcha1292 yes I fell on my second cycle trying so very luck, especially for my age I think. Obviously there is still a lot that can go wrong so trying not to get too carried away as still early days. I haven’t had any sickness yet 🤞🏼 But I do start to feel very weak & shaky if I don’t eat often enough. I am very tired too but apart from that all good so far.
Ahh how lovely, nice that your daughter will be old enough to help you with things when it does happen for you ☺️ I have 2 step daughters 5 & 7 so I think they will very excited when we tell them x

I tested today, bfn. I thought I was 6 days until af was due, but I'm 7, so it was too early anyway. I have a couple more as it was a pack of three, so I may do another in a couple of days. I can never seem to wait! It's really getting me down now.

Over one year trying since our mc, it feels like forever.

Ahh thank you! Yes we've been through full testing, I've had the internal scanning and hormonal testing, all perfect, couldn't improve if I tried. Husband has low motility so we've been working on that. It was lucky we tested as it really spurred him into action, I'm quite healthy generally but he needed to loose some weight.

I'd recommend private scanning if you haven't had it xx

I might look into it - I'm not too concerned about me as I've been pregnant twice, but my partner has got it in his head there might be problems with him, but this isn't based on anything really. But we were talking about getting tested just to put his mind at rest. Where did you do it and how much?

If I'm honest for my husband we bought an online test and he did it here at home! It gave so much detail and info I was shocked, and it helped us understand what was going on. As a first step I'd really recommend it, just google at home sperm testing kit. It's more private that way and so easy, it will really help him to feel better but knowing all is ok. And if not you could always go somewhere for further advice. The test gives a lot of advice with the results also. Xx

So I followed the SMEP apart from the final day (after you miss a day) as we were both feeling really under the weather. Due on my period around the 25th.
Where is everyone else in their cycle and how's it going?

I am 10 DPO and not a single symptom. Urgh its so disheartening 😔

Ugh joining this again - two years trying, three miscarriages, no living children. My cycles have been all over the place since the last loss, my last one was 21 days, times before that 23 and 24. Im now on day 27 so technically I could be late but I only ovulated 10 days ago. Will probably test today to put my mind at rest.

@DecemberRose19 no symptoms at 10dpo is totally normal so don’t lose hope yet. I’m 11dpo today and have sore boobs but have also been having random cramps throughout today too so I’m really not sure what to think 🙃

@Mitsky sorry for your losses. I had a loss at 9 weeks in November last year and it broke me so you’re not alone ♥️ hopefully af arrives or you get a bfp soon so you know where you are with your cycle.

I'm in month 13 after two miscarriages, but no sign of a positive since the last one in June 2023. @Westsussex i totally agree it feels never ending.

I've started acupuncture since January and i'm hoping that's helping somehow. i'm on 9dpo today, period due Thursday.

Welcome 🥰 sorry to hear about your losses, you're all so strong. I feel awful moaning when really I'm relatively near the beginning of my journey. Its just so hard to think about much else isn't it?

That's interesting about your period due Thurs, I'm 10 day DPO but not due until Sunday! I guess all cycles are different though

ah you must have a nice long luteal phase.... my luteal phase is usually only 12 days, which isn't great i think as not much time for implantation.

I don't know if I'm imagining it but my boobs look bigger today (and my parter mentioned it too) and while they don't feel tender or anything, I can just sort of feel that they're there... maybe more than usual, if that makes sense?
Absolutely no other changes though and this could of course be due to my period being due on Sunday.
