Hey guys. Wondered if anyone wanted to join whoes is on a similar day? Im only CD1 (got the title wrong!) today I had a thread last time I was TTC and it really helped with the waiting. I have a DS who is two and this is cycle 2 for trying for number 2. Last month a lot was going on so I'd have been surprised if I got pregnant but it was still sad AF arriving. Anyone want to join for this month?

Hello!

Cd 2 here

Would love to join you, I have been trying since August after a miscarriage last summer which i caught on our first try then, I have a two year old daughter as well (she took me 6 months plus a miscarriage - so it just seems to be i take a little while to have babies)

I took my foot off the gas a bit last month i was in a xmas ttc forum but decided to give it a break. just trying to dtd every other day but I got this hideous cough/ cold everyone seems to be suffering with not that I think that affects things too much but I was really run down around ovulation lasy cycle I think!

Fingers crossed this is the month, bit bittersweet as I would have been due in February and really wanted to be pregnant by now.

Sending baby dust xx

@Fingerscrossed2005 sorry to hear about your losses.

Yeah sometimes it can get too much can't it? I find myself getting a bit too obsessed so I've steered away from opks pr anything yet. If it takes me a while I might start looking but feel like it might be too much for me. I didn't test until AF was late with my son and would be determined to wait again so have no tests in the house haha.

Oh no about the cold. Are you better now? It seems like it's everywhere at the moment!

Really hope it happens for is both this month! My plans the same as yours with DDT. How long are your cycles normally?

Thankyou x and yes feeling a lot better now!

Yes ttc is all consuming! Honestly I have told myself if I have another I won't go through this again, the mental torture of it hats off to the ladies that have several kids how do you go through trying so often! I guess everyone is different though, I have the cb opk kit and the cheap strips in two minds whether to use them or not this month , with my daughter I did bbt and the last pregnancy but sleep is hit and miss round here tbh - toddler life :/ the NHS website says to just dtd every 2-3 days - at this rate I think we've tried every pattern going to every day/ every other/ barely at all, last month dtd every other day did make it feel more relaxed so will go with that I think.

Cycles are usually 30 days for me with the odd one here or there being a day longer or shorter. I get the bodily symptoms and ovu pain I feel like one plus point of ttc is I have really got to know my body,

I have two pg tests left in the house and I only took one this month cos I normally get pre af spotting but I didn't this month until the day she started joy! I remember when ttc my little one I watched a video where a Doctor was saying there's no point testing until 13dpo so I always went with that

Yes keeping everything crossed for us both keep telling myself 2024 will be the year, make sure if you can to get plenty of distractions for tww I have family and friends plans to keep me sane this month xx

@Fingerscrossed2005

Yeah it really is. I get a bit consumed by it and the hope in the TWW is a bit too much! Hopefully we won't have to wait much longer!

Yes we are going with the every other day approach and probably just go up until near the end to ensure we cover it and also might help in the waiting haha!

My cycles are about the same. My clue app says I'll be due around 22 Feb.

How's your little ones sleep going?

@Grace185

Morning lovely, hows it going today? I have been on carb overload with the old period - joy

That's a good idea about continuing to near the end of cycle, I bloody hate the tww, learnt of two friends who are pregnant this week - it comes in threes right, hopefully me next!!

I'm taking fertile days off work this month - it wasn't intentional more that they were the only days I could take off between now and Easter so it might work out ok not being at work stressed - I'm doing some home reno that week also so will be a good distraction!

My app says 20th Feb for me due on - but lets hope we both don't get a period for a long time now!

She is a good sleeper overall LOVES her bed never wants to get up in the morning but she sometimes has night terrors so that breaks up our sleep and also I'm a very light sleeper she only needs to sneeze and I'm awake!

What's your little one like? I must admit they say terrible twos and it is stressful having a toddler we're now getting into the role play stage and I love it its all fairies, princesses, cafe's, doctors, shops etc here most days. xx
