Wondering if anyone has some experience/words of advice for me…
I’m currently on CD31 (14dpo- according to FF), my period was due on Saturday but usually I’m a 27 day average cycle girl (I typically range from 26-28days- so I’m classified as regular). However, because I didn’t get a positive OPK until CD16 and my temps confirmed that I ovulated on CD17 (which further confirmation with Proov PdG tests), I figured my period due date would be pushed back because of the later ovulation.
However, no period! I’ve taken multiple tests (two today- different brands same urine which was FMU), I took one on Saturday and some earlier in the week but the dpo was probably too early. All negative- so I’ve resounded myself that I’m not pregnant. I have been spotting, brown in colour mixed with creamy discharge (too much I’d say for me get the desired result of a positive test) on and off since Friday probably- so CD11 to now (CD14). I had literally 2 drops of brown watery discharge in the toilet bowl on CD8 but then nothing afterward until CD11.
I’ve never been this late for a period- the only time I’ve been this ‘late’ was when I came off birth control after a year and half and it took me 37days to get my period- that was in January 2023. If anything, I come early! I’ve never actually made it to 14dpo before and never had the opportunity till this month to test at the recommended time.
Also, I always start my periods in the morning- I’ll spot the night before (or like the past couple of month- 4/5days before on and off) and then I’ll get my proper full blown period in the morning.
I also BBT, yesterday my temp dipped to my cover line (just above it- not under) but today is rocketed up again- I did mark yesterday and today as illness though as I’ve got a snotty nose and a bit of a sore throat- so perhaps that’s the reason behind it all?
I don’t have any of my usual symptoms for period- no sore boobs, no cramps-
more like twinges/pull sensations but very mild for what I’m used to when AF comes.
