I'm currently planning to conceive.
I'm taking six vitamins daily and want to check whether these are not going to impact getting pregnant and are even safe to take during pregnancy:

  1. Vitamin C
  2. Vitamin D
  3. Folic acid
  4. Iron
  5. Evening Primrose oil
  6. Omega 3 Fish oil

Any advice would be appreciated.

All totally safe. Add some myo inositol powder in for good measure x

Do any contain the retinol form of vitamin A as thats one that shouldn't be taken during pregnancy?

Take folate rather than folic acid, it’s absorption is so much better.

and if you’re struggling add in a high dose of CoQ10. Have you read ‘it starts with the egg’?

NHS only recommends Vit D and folic acid, it's much better to get nutrients from your diet than supplements. And remember, all the supplements in the world cannot necessarily get you pregnant.

Thanks for the advice. Is Folate same as Vitamin B?
No I haven't read it all begins with the egg. I'll look it up.

No, it’s similar to folic acid but folate is the superior version. Do read the book, I’m fairly certain it’s how I got pregnant after nearly 2 years of trying.
