Clear blue digital OPK straight to peak no flashing smiley?

Hi there.

I am on fertility meds, and on my successful ovulation cycles I get my peak opks 6 days after my last letrozole tablet (normally cycle day 13)

This cycle I used my advanced clear blue along with the easy@home strips on cycle days 9, 10 which were negative as expected but the morning of cycle day 11 my clear blue gave me a peak! I was bit confused as I expected a flashing smiley since I had been getting the usual mild cramps leading upto my peak that I normally get.

my easy@home wasn’t quite a positive from the same sample…..I did however test in the afternoon of cycle day 11 with a cheapie and was darker than the picture I will attach, by afternoon the test line was the same as the control.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any experience? I have my 21 cycle day bloods next week so I know I will find out either way.

Thank you in advance 🥰

This happened to me every me every month, I never got a flashing smiley and my LH tests went from faint to very dark then back to faint again within 12 hours. It made ovulation more tricky but I used to dtd when I started to get EWCM which was a few days before the solid smiley. Conceived after 4 months doing this. I think some people just have a short surge

My easy@home strips never got much darker than that also if you feed them into the app it does adjust what’s ‘normal’ for you to predict ovulation.

@Shortbreadfingerss Thank you for your reply.
My LH on the easy at home don’t get darker than the control line for my peak either.
Was just confused but we started early this month bd on cd 7, 9 and the 11 & 12 so fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Wishing you well x
