Hi guys, as the title says…

squinter on an Superdrug this Tuesday, retested with 4 hour hold pee on a clear blue, looks positive (with an annoying dye streak).
confirmed Wednesday with the other CB in the pack. Thursday (today) negative on a FR!

All pictures attached, all tests of the early variety. AF due today/ tomorrow.

had one light brown jelly like streak when wiping Tuesday night, nothing since.

anyone experienced this and it’s all panned out?

How odd. I don’t trust clear blue as have had so many that looked that and turned out to be negative. As you are due on your period, I would try a digital.

First picture looks like an early positive, clear blues look abit faulty to me, last one looks negative. Is there any hint of a line in real life? Pictures don't always pick it up. You aren't going to know until testing again in a few day unfortunately to see if there's any progression. I'd avoid clear blue tho as they often are faulty or show Evap lines etc.

It could have been a chemical unfortunately, but again can't say so soon for sure really

Those are what my positives looked like! As long as you're definitely not likely to be ovulating, take an ovulation test as they can & do detect pregnancy earlier than first response.

Both Superdrug and clearblue are absolutely awful tests so I wouldn’t trust either to be honest. Did you use fmu with the first response? I’d give it a day or two and then retest with a decent test and fmu. Fr is the most sensitive so should show more clearly than the others.

Hi guys, just to update the thread, I ended up using @Wictc advice and got a digital yesterday which showed up as pregnant (yay).

I used FMU on the FR and there really wasn’t any line, not even a squinter. I assume perhaps it was a dud pack?

AF due yesterday/today and so far no sign of it. With the digital confirmation I definitely feel less crazy now.

thanks for your advice
