Hi everyone!

First time posting but I’m going insane! We’ve been ttc for a couple of months - already have a 2 year old!

I always ovulated late and this month day 20, my periods are always 28/30 days- I’m now on day 32 and no Af! I’ve been testing everyday ( I know I shouldn’t and god the cost!) since day 28 with Clearblue- every morning it’s clear but after an hour I get a blue line. I know it could be evaporation line but these are blue not grey an it’s every test! All 5! If it was one I wouldn’t read into it but it’s all of them and but im not convinced they are getting darker or thicker!

does this mean it’s just a Clearblue problem or just really low levels of Hcg?

help I’m never later and now 2-4 days late but still haven’t had an immediate positive test - trying to hope that it’s my late ovulation but now 11 dpo and not holding out hope!

anyone else late ovulation problems with tests or Clearblue problems?!

I'd say you are probably pregnant. Try a different brand of test?

JustTooDarnLoud · 17/01/2024 11:49

The only consistent solid line I see is the bottom test, all the others have breaks or fainter bits. I’d be hesitant at saying any were positive tbh even if they came up in the time, but especially as the line only comes up after an hour. They are possibly all from the same batch if bought from the same shop, so they would probably all give the same evap.

Get a digital or a different brand and read within the time specified. Also collect urine and dip the test to make sure no flooding, as this can also cause lines.

Best of luck.

I would get a different brand of test, I've had this before with clear blue and wasn't pregnant. Fingers crossed another brand gives you a bfp 😊

thanks! I think I’ve read quite abit online that says it’s a problem with those tests! Did you get the line in more than one test?

Just buy a digital and a different brand of test that should help clarify

Clearblue are the worst for this, stop wasting money on them and get decent pink dye tests. There’s loads of posts about people having similar problems with these.

I know this is a while ago but can I ask how this turned out? I'm in a really similar situation at the moment thanks

Hi- sorry unfortunately I didn’t get pregnant - this happened for a couple ,p more days then AF came- but i’m pretty sure it was a chemical pregnancy as I was so late- so half right if that makes sense! Hope you get the result you want!
