Does anyone have any experience of using gender selection methods that don’t involve IVF?
Looking into Microsort (sperm sorting) to make sure my next child is a girl.
I already have two boys and I wouldn’t swap them for the world but I have this deep longing at not having a girl.
I just keep thinking about when I’m 50 and my kids are grown up and I’ll always wonder what if/regret not having a little girl. My husband is fantastic and financially we can manage with 3 children so I would really like to have a third but at the same time I only want a third if I can make sure it’s a girl.
There are a few reason I don’t want to do IVF:
- it’s incredibly invasive and a lot to put my body through
- the high likelihood of having multiple babies - I got pregnant first time with both my boys and my mum was the exact same with my brother and I. So we are just very fertile and if there is a chance of having more than one baby I am pretty sure my body will do it 😂 although I think having a third baby would be fine I don’t think having twins or triplets would be the best.
I’ve looked into Microsort with artificial insemination but can’t find much info about it online. I know there is a clinic in Cyprus. I do know it’s not 100% guaranteed.
Cost isn’t really a factor for us and we are happy to travel.
Just looking for anyone who has experience with scientific gender selection method that aren’t IVF please??
