Spotting between periods - Ovulation hormone rising. Very confused.

Hi all,, Had a csection 9 weeks ago. Unfortunately we lost our twin sons. Due to an excellent recovery and our circumstances we have been cleared to try again. But here's the issue.

Opk's said I ovulated on the 26th December, we did the deed but got my first period last Thursday, bleeding stopped 3 days ago,

I got a flashing smiley on clearblue opk yesterday. Was surprised to be ovulating again so soon after my period but then today I start spotting pink blood and I've cramps. I'm so confused. Took a pregnancy test and of course its blank but I've no idea what's going on.

With the clearblue tests, the flashing smiley is measuring oestrogen which rises in the lead up to your LH peak (which shows with the static smiley). I've had 8 flashing smileys before the static one on some occasion, the average according to clearblue is around 4 days. So you won't be necessarily ovulating for a little while yet x
