10dpo line eyes - I’m not seeing things am I?!

I’m 10dpo today. In the very early hours of 8dpo I had the strangest ‘flutters’ under my bellybutton and wondered if it was the fabled ‘tugging sensation’ of implantation I’ve read so much about on here (but have never experienced myself!).

I’ve just done these tests. I saw the line on the top One Step, couldn’t believe it so did the easy@Home middle one, then did another One Step again (bottom). All lines came up within the time.

What do you all think…?!

I’ve had years of infertility, failed IVF, then a major surgery to remove complex deep endometriosis and this is my second cycle after coming out of medical menopause.

Whenever I’ve been very newly pregnant using these internet cheapies it takes a good 5-10 mins to see a line. When I first tested the evening of 8dpo after 5 mins I saw absolutely nothing and was about to throw it away, left it another 5 mins and there it was, a line. Faint like yours but definitely a line. The following mornings it started to be seen in the 5 minute window and then before the control line came up! Good luck! I think it’s all still looking very positive! Although I would try with a frer if you can! ☺️

Get yourself a clear blue digital will save you squinting at lines x

Decaffe · 12/01/2024 07:47

Good morning, they are looking a bit stronger today at 12dpo, fingers crossed they continue to do so.

I did a FRER yesterday which was a clear positive, however I am continuing to test on these so I can hopefully see progression every 48 hours!

These tests always "dry" darker so it's impossible to compare them at first. Don't stress, it took 72 hours for my tests to darken on those and even then it was super slow progression but did happen.

Would you be able to request bloods from your GP 48h apart? That would be the best as tests can be quite unreliable! Xx

Thank you for the suggestion. The GP said they can do bloods 48 hours apart but they take four days to come back 😁 I did go yesterday for the first test but won’t get the result back til Monday.

Great progression OP!!

babyonwayx · 12/01/2024 09:36

Amazing progression OP and much darker than my 12dpo test with this one and I'm now 21 weeks! So excited for you 🥰🙏🏼

PatRey · 12/01/2024 10:21

Congratulations!!

Unsainted8 · 12/01/2024 13:20

Amazing news!!!! ❤️

WhatAFoolishFool · 12/01/2024 19:50

Great progression! Congratulations

Olika · 12/01/2024 19:53

Congrats! 🎉🙂

Morning all, here’s today’s tests compared with 48 hours ago (11dpo and 13dpo). It’s clearly progressing but my worry is today’s line isn’t as strong as it should be for 13dpo. I have my second HCG test later this morning so fingers crossed my HCG has doubled since Thursday.

I think it's fine for 13dpo :)
It's progression!!!

Olika · 13/01/2024 09:43

I wouldn't worry at this stage. Try to relax and take pregnancy vitamins and whatever happens happens. 🤞🏼

Starlight11111 · 13/01/2024 10:27

@Decaffe these tests take a long time to progress, let me try and add a photo of mine which is 10DPO onwards x

This was mine at 13dpo! It looks great to me! Cheapies take a bit longer to darken in my experience!

Thank you all, I particularly appreciate the photos of your previous tests and line progressions. It’s very reassuring, and kind of you to take the time to look up the photos Flowers

I said I would stop testing on the day my period is due, which is tomorrow, but I think that’s unlikely! I think there is a progression today but perhaps not as strong as the one I saw yesterday.

I will find out the result of my second HCG tomorrow, fingers crossed.

@Decaffe definite progression on today's test!! I said I would stop testing many times too, but I kept going until I hit 5weeks/got my 3+ on a digital. I both drove myself mad and kept myself sane 😂

Decaffe · 15/01/2024 09:08

Tell me about it…

Going to be honest I do not really see much progression from days 13-15.

I can maybe see that the blue OneStep is a touch darker today, in the 13-15 comparison photo, but when they’re all lined up I really think the last three days aren’t really getting darker.

@Decaffe I see progression. On my easy at homes honestly days 11-15 didn't look much different. Once it hit 17 days I got a fairly big jump in the line but I still don't think they're overly accurate for line progression, I've never had a dye stealer on them whereas I have on other tests.

You are pregnant today - is what I have to tell myself 17000 times a day :)

Olika · 15/01/2024 09:15

I think you are obsessing with progression too much. Why don't you do a digital test that says pregnant so you get some peace. And then stop testing.

The digital test says pregnant, it’s whether it’s a sticky one that is making me anxious.

I would love to be one of those lucky ladies who gets a single positive test and then is at peace. Unfortunately, after…

countless blood tests
two hysterosalpingograms
Countless external scans
one laparoscopy
polyp removal
one robotic excision of stage 4 endometriosis, which unstuck my ovaries from my pelvic wall, unstuck the back of my uterus from my colon, removed endometriosis from my ureter, and much more
One failed round of IVF including one fresh and one frozen transfer
one round of egg retrieval / embryo creation, which were then frozen
countless self injections
more stress and heartbreak than is probably fair for someone to go through
being put in medical menopause for six months with no guarantees I’d come out of it
allergic reactions to pessaries
a plan to transfer one of the frozen embryos in a few weeks
countless internal scans
specialist input for thyroid issues
infertility for nearly three years

…Testing daily is one thing I can do that gives me the illusion feeling that I have a little bit of knowledge and control of what is happening to my body, after it has been in the hands of others for so long.

Cheapies only have so much dye.
