IVF success stories please

Hi girls,
Just wanting some success stories not sure if i am giong down this road yet as i am having more test in the new year.
My story....
Iam 27 live in Australia have a ds aged 2 natural conception but a very big suprise.
Was told i had endo when i was 18 and that i would proberly need medical help when i want to have a family so DH and i never used contraception. Been ttc number 2 for 1 year now and just had a lap and dye done last week and was told by my gyno that my tubes were so blocked that he couldnt get the dye through and i would have to consider IVF.
Having a levervist ultrasound in the new year to confirm the blockage but hoping that maybe my tubes were spasaming (sp?) during my lap and thats why the dye wouldnt go throu.
So iam really in limbo atm not sure if i can fall pg on our own or if we need to do IVF the $$$$ really worry me cause i hear of so many people getting into alot of debt doing ivf.
Needing some success stories to give me and dh a little hope and some light at the end of this very dark and lonley tunnel.

If I were in your position, I would tell people. We were not able to tell more than our immediate families and very close friends, as we live in a smallish place, DH's ex-wife was extremely hostile to us and would have loved crowing about failed cycles to his step-children. We just couldn't face it. We felt very isolated and unsupported. It would have helped a lot to have more people knowing what we were going through.

I agree with you oldimum but i dont know how i can talk dh around. he is a very personal person and doesnt like people knowing our business. people are going to ask cause they know ivf was an option for us. and i feel it is putting alot of pressure on my sister to be the only friend i can speak to about it as i know that now every time i speak to her it will be all about ivf.
Does anyone have any idea of what i can say to dh to bring him around.

My SIL conceived on 2nd attempt and I now have a beautiful 3 month old niece called Lauren.

My best friend conceived on 2nd atempt and I have a gorgeous god son of 3.5 years called Ben.

My cousin conceived and then went on to have two more naturally?! Had 3 under 3 at one point.

My friend concieved with first attempt. She did tell everyone and said the other day she doesn't regret tellling everyone.

My IVF baby has just turned 1. Tried to concieve for 3.5 years. Found out I have endo which was zapped. But still nothing. All tests done and unexplained sub fertility. So best chance was ICSI. Worked 1st time. Currently not using contraception and we will wait and see. But have eggs in the freezer just incase.
