Have I ovulated? I don’t know what I’m doing!

I know officially there’s no way to tell (I think?) but I’ve been using Natural Cycles and it seems to suggest I’ve ovulated based on BBT (pic below).

I had DD in May and haven’t had a period since hence why it’s claiming I’m Cycle Day 300 or something! I had a positive ovulation test on 31st December.

I don’t really understand how any of it works so any advice/guidance would be massively appreciated!

How does it decide I’ve ovulated? Hoping to start TTC number 2 ASAP!

If your period hasn't returned then I'm guessing you're still breastfeeding.

While your breastfeeding I wouldn't expect to be able to effectively track your ovulation- particularly if you're not experiencing any cycles.

It looks like you ovulated based on the rise and fall of the temp. Did you have any other signs like pain or cm?

@siobhanmt247 no nothing, but I never had any signs historically either (pre-baby!)

@Outliers I’m not necessarily trying to track, just want to know if and when I do start ovulating so we can TTC again. But yes, breastfeeding seems to be stalling it!

I think you'll get your period in a few weeks then natural cycles seems to sort itself out with the dates a bit

Understood - though you are essentially tracking with OPKs in order to establish when you ovulate so you can TTC.
