Pregnant after mirena coil?

I know it's different for everyone but I'm wondering how quickly you fell pregnant after removing your mirena coil? No idea about my cycle length or anything as I haven't had a period for years. Coil has been in about 3 yrs.

Previously had 2 unplanned pregnancies but this would be the first planned pregnancy so everything feels new!

6 months

It took me about 8 or 9 months. The hormones definitely impacted me a bit. Taking vitex supplements helped.

Hi whattimeisittoday,
1st pregnancy unplanned so also first time TTC. I was in same boat though, haven’t had a period whilst on Mirena, I had it removed just before Christmas, had a bleed 2 days later for 2-3days, which at the time wasn’t sure whether AF or withdrawal bleed. I started using Ovulation tests and hit my Peak just 2 days ago, so turns out it probably was AF. So it looks like everything has went back to normal as quickly as that, which I was surprised about. 2 weeks to wait now (fingers crossed)

I had my merina taken out in the April, and conceived in the July. Good luck!

14 months for us, but we weren't trying terribly hard. Just vaguely tracking my cycle.

That's great to hear, hopefully it's as quick for me. Good luck with testing!

Congrats! That's great news :) I had a really long period (2 weeks!) that I'm just finishing so that's been annoying but at least it came back straight away. Will start testing ovulation from now so let's see..!
