Think I’ve just got my very first evap?

7dpo. Tested and this line came up within 2 minutes but there seems to be no colour but also had to use a flashlight for picture but can be seen in the daylight with the naked eye.
putting it as a possible evap. 🙈

I'm sorry to be one of those people, but 7DPO is just so early 😅 I didn't get a properly convincing line until 14DPO. Try and wait until your expected period day.. if you can (a big IF i know!), and save yourself the emotion, I wish i had! Good luck!

@bobbles4091 oh I know but I’m an addict to POAS during my TWW. I’ve only one test left so I have to hold out now as long as I can to test again. Thank you. Wish evaps weren’t a thing. 😭

Having one test left is the worst, I found myself in a similar position but at least it forced me to wait, and I did get my BFP! I hope this week goes fast for you!

@bobbles4091 if I can can get through until Monday without testing then I’ll be 11dpo & fully back at work so hopefully it’ll keep me busy.
it’s just annoying the first thing you think of when you wake up is getting a test for your FMU. I might have to give OH my last test and ask him to hide it until I’m ready for it.

I always say that if you have to use a flash light, check in several different lights, take several photos, invert the picture etc then there really isn’t anything there. I’ve been there though and it’s horrible. I’ve just found out I’m pregnant with baby number 3 and with this pregnancy I found out the evening of 8dpo.. the line was faint but absolutely there with no messing around. With my second I found out at 9dpo and the line was even fainter but again it was there and visible. 7dpo is SO SO early though so give it a couple of days maybe 3 if you can help it and test again ☺️

@L00k4m3x I only needed to use the flashlight for the picture, I was able to see it standing in the bathroom with no flash, but over an hour later the line is non existent. Its chappy but I have told my partner now that I won't test again until next week & then just wait for AF.
We're a year trying next month (had a 2 month break from TTC in between though so less than a year actively trying) & that was my first proper evap.
& with lightning crotch last night & tugging pulling the last few days towards the right side I just wanted to test lol.
Congratulations hun. This will be my first when I do eventually get pregnant.

@Nmmck93 Honestly don’t write it off just yet, 7dpo is still very, very early!!

I know how you’re feeling! My first two took almost a year to conceive each time and it was soul destroying so I’ve been where you are. This third pregnancy has happened out of nowhere and I’m in complete shock as I was certain it would take a while again. We ditched contraception two months a go, just went with the motto of ‘if it happens it happens’ but with our past experience I didn’t think it would and it has.

Please update us when you do take another test, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! Try and keep yourself busy, easier said than done I know. Sending you all the luck!! ❤️✨

It's not possible to test positive at 7DPO, so it's most certainly an evap.

Even if you saw a line you already know you'd have to test again, because accuracy before 12DPO and/or when your period is due is low.

There's no escaping the 2WW.
