12 DPO faulty test?

Hey ladies,

Freaking out a little here as I have completely ruled myself out this month... spent too much money on early tests, used them all including a 6 day early FRER yesterday morning which came back negative.... so spent most of the day moping convincing myself I was out this month... I'm due on either tomorrow or Thursday according to my apps!

I decided to use this cheap pound shop test just a second ago (Don't ask me why) with afternoon wee, and this showed up after a minute, it looks as if it has colour... Surely it must be faulty? As I don't see how I can get a positive on this cheap one with afternoon wee when I used a FRER yesterday?

Hi,

I’m pretty sure I can see a very faint line. Could be a very faint positive, especially if you’ve not missed your period yet. Prehaps you ovulated a little later than you thought. I’d probably recommend testing again in the next few days and if it is positive hopefully by period day the line would be much clearer.

This is what my first one of these tests looked like 2 weeks ago! Congratulations that's definitely a positive x

@SunshineAndRainbows6 thank you! This is it yesterday at 5 weeks! It's our triple rainbow (had 3 MC in 2023) so praying this one sticks x

@karma3 May I ask how many DPO you were with that one? 🙏🏼 I keep thinking these two might not be that strong for 12 dpo!? ✨ x

So sorry! @SunshineAndRainbows6 I had a chemical, then a MMC (passed naturally 4 weeks later) and then a blighted ovum at 7 weeks which I passed with the medical management in hospital. Honestly the worst year ever 😫 hoping this is it for both of us ❤️🫶🏻

Hey ladies 👋🏼 thought I'd come back and update this thread as I know a couple of you said to keep in touch 🌈 Unfortunately it wasn't a happy ending for me 😞 It was an ectopic pregnancy which ended up rupturing 😢 I had to have emergency surgery and my right tube removed 😔 Currently recovering both physically and mentally.... After my MMC and then this ectopic I know I am going to be a nervous wreck next time around 😩 But hoping for 3rd time lucky for our rainbow baby 🌈
