TTC over 40 - blood test normal - anyone advise on next steps?

I’m 42 and trying to conceive first baby. I know the odds on this happening quickly aren’t so great. Wondered if anyone who has been through NHS or private investigations can advise on next steps?

Went to GP earlier than 6-months of trying and explained that I had been trying for a couple of months. She agreed to blood test on day 3 of cycle (results normal). Getting my partner to ask for bloods and sperm analysis.

Now on cycle 5 of TTC. Anyone advise on what I should do now (aside from getting partner checked out?) Private clinics vs NHS investigations? Best clinics to go for etc? What GP will do next? Thanks!

You can get a fertility MOT on the private market for you and your partner to expedite things.

If your periods are regular then it's likely you have no problems or issues preventing conception - Barring diminished egg quality and reserves.
