How long to read ovulation test for results and until 'invalid'

Just wondering how long you should wait after dipping an ovulation test in urine to read the results. And when results are invalid.

As I just took one, waited approx 5 mins and uploaded the result to premom. Got a score of 0.36 low

But then 45 mins after I came to empty my bathroom bin and the test was on the top and the line looked much darker so I took it back out and uploaded a pic of it and it came back 0.67 high

You would need to read the brands instructions, but many of them are do not read after 5 or 10 minutes.

Most of the cheapy ovulation sticks I've bought have said to wait 5 mins before reading. Generally the results are unreadable before then as the dye hasn't flowed (if that makes sense). Your t/c score doesn't matter too much. You just need test line to be as dark or darker than control line. The t/c will vary a lot depending on how concentrated your urine is.

I found with the cheap ones from Amazon to wait at least 10+ minutes for better results. It was always best result once it fully dried.
