Could I still be pregnant? Negative tests 2 weeks late

Hi everyone! It's my first post here :)
I'm 27yo and had my hormonal coil removed 9 months ago, partner and I have been having frequent unprotected sex since.
My cycles are like clockwork, always been 27-29 days long. However, I am currently on day 44 of this cycle, meaning my period is over 2 weeks late.
I have taken pregnancy tests every few days and tried several brands. All of the red dye 'first response' tests have been negative. This includes one I took first thing yesterday morning.
The blue dye 'clear blue' tests showed faint blue second lines, but I thought they looked more like evaporation lines (photo attached). I've not done these for a few days now.
I do have several symptoms that could be associated with early pregnancy (but I don't know if I'm just looking for signs!). These include:

  • lots of white/clear stretchy discharge (photos attached, sorry if tmi!)
  • acne (normally have very clear skin)
  • sore breasts

Is there a possibility I'm still pregnant but not producing enough HCG yet?
Or could I be further along than I thought, so not producing HCG anymore?
Would be keen to hear if anyone has had any similar experiences.

Could be worth seeing your doctor for a blood test? HCG peaks at around 10 weeks but doesn't then suddenly stop, and you only need a pretty low level to get a positive test so I doubt it's that to be honest.

It's very unlike you're pregnant if I'm honest, HCG would be significantly high by now.

It is strange that period is 2weeks late. Unless, by any chance, you are breastfeeding atm?

Thanks for this everyone.
No, I'm not breastfeeding!
I have requested a drs appointment but they are rubbish at getting back to people. Fingers crossed that they do!

Have you been temping or ovulation testing to keep a track of where you are in your cycles, OP? I suspect you're not pregnant from the tests if you've had repeated negative tests. Also, your CM looks like you may be ovulating soon. Have you been sick at all recently, or had any extreme stress in your life? These things can disrupt your normal cycle.

Welshcake15 · 28/12/2023 12:30

Also, both times I was pregnant my CM was more runny/watery to the point where I kept thinking I was getting my period. It wasn't at all stretchy like yours is from your picture.

Thanks for the response! No, I've had no sickness, no stress (if anything, quite the opposite), no significant weight changes. It's all just very strange!
I have not been tracking my ovulation.
My discharge has been like this since the day my period was due though, two weeks of white/clear stringy discharge.

I've had another negative test today.

I'm not too fussed either way, I just want to either get my period or a positive test! I hate the weird limbo phase of not knowing what's going on.
Still no response from my Dr.
