Confused with opks and bbt

Hi ladies! I am more confused this month than I have been every other month when I wasn’t Ttc. I have a normal 28 cycle that fluctuates between 25-29 days. I started opks and temping CD 8. Noticed a LH surge on cd 11 and dtd that night, and the next 2 days. But temps aren’t making sense to me, this morning I took it a little later than normal (8am instead of 6:30am) and I heard that could affect the accuracy? But problem is, my sex drive started going up about 2 days ago, which wouldn’t make sense if I’ve already ovulated? Plus, usually I have a boat load of watery and ewcm for 4 days leading up to ovulation, which I didn’t really have this time around. I am nervous we missed my window, we haven’t dtd since Christmas (cd 13) and today is cd 15. But opks says I have.. I am so confused. Anyone have some good advice or suggestions?

Looks to me like you ovulated in cycle day 13/14? But I could be wrong, I’d keep temping and your usual time and if it gets higher and stays there it would be a pretty good indication that you ovulated when you thought you may have?

That’s what I am assuming too. Just weird I am having ovulation symptoms after the fact.

Hi OP, I believe if you’re temping you’re supposed to do it every day of your cycle to establish a baseline, not just when you’re due to ovulate? There’s a lot of room for error with temping and as you said you took one at a later time than usual so that can have an effect on accuracy. Your OPKs looked positive on CD12 so likely ovulation was 13-14 :)
