Would a pregnancy test work at 2 months pregnant? Give or take depending on how long sperm lived when ovulated fertilised ect .I could be around 8 or 9 weeks
I know this is an accurate estimate as I've only had sex once in the past probably 18 months.
I've been pregnant before.
I had unprotected sex with an ex boyfriend. The father of my children
Please don't judge . I had a 'period' after that but it was alot lighter. I don't have heavy periods tho so I didn't think anything usual. Missed my period again and
I've had all the symptoms, morning sickness.. evening sickness, when I was pregnant before I get bad boweltroubles, painful nipples every time. I dont ever get pms.The list goes on. I know I must definitely be pregnant. Haven't had any time to get to pick up a test due to work / taking care of the kids. Have been swamped with Christmas coming up. I'm free now until new year and was going to pick up a test tomorrow in town but I'm wondering will a test even work at this stage ? I've heard after a heartbeat can be detected you aren't supposed to use tests. Is there a reason for that?
Surgery won't do bloods as if you need to make appointments 3 weeks in advance for bloods as there's staff shortages .
No appointments available until after new year anyway with gp. There's only 3 gps in my surgery .takes weeks. You can't be seen urgently unless its an emergency.
Do the tests become invalid or something? I've heard after 7 weeks tests shouldn't be taken and it's scan you have

In short: Tests can still be used.

Tests measure hcg levels. The longer pregnant the higher the hcg.. so yes they will work.
If any pregnant woman (who knows she is) takes a test it won't say negative 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yes it should still show up as a positive test if you’re pregnant.

Yes, that's around the time I found out. I took 3 tests in disbelief and all were positive. Good luck!

I'm 31 weeks and just took one, very positive.

Yes tests can still be used, this sounds like a playground old wives tale

hope you get the result you want
