4dpo spotting and cramps

I had my coil taken out 12 days ago and we’ve started to try for a baby. I’m now four days past ovulation maybe five and I’m spotting which is something that never happens to me. Has anybody ever had this? I was cramping really badly yesterday as well x

I think that this is most likely due to the coil removal rather than anything else. Did you have the copper coil or hormonal coil? Mine was hormonal and think it took a good three months for my cycles to come back to normal. I beat myself up so much in that time trying to convince myself that I was pregnant so my best advice it to not overthink it! I know easier said than done!

You've just had your contraception removed. Very normal to experience spotting and some irregularities.
