Faint line showed up on Morrisons test after an hour… evap?

TTC #2 and have been feeling queasy last few days and had a vivid BFP dream last night so I found an old Morrisons test in the cupboard this morning and thought what the hell. I don’t temp so not 100% sure when I ovulated but think I’m only about 9dpo.

The test appeared to be faulty as the bit with the test and control lines was coming away from the plastic. Couldn’t see a line within a few mins so put it down and walked away. When I came back into the bathroom an hour later I could see a 2nd line but it’s very faint and I know lines that show up after a while aren’t valid.

I’m going to retest in a couple of days anyway and am assuming this is negative but just wondered if anyone had similar and it turned out to be positive?

I had similar with a Tesco test, looked exactly like that one. I dipped a clear blue, FRER and Tesco test in the same wee. Clear positive on the first 2 and the Tesco line only showed up after approx 10 mins. Baby is 3 weeks old now x

Thanks for all your replies. Tested on a clear blue early with FMU this morning at approx 11dpo and it’s very much negative :( Not even a hint of a line.

It’s so strange because the line on the test from 2 days ago kept getting pinker throughout the day until it looked very positive. I’m thinking maybe a chemical?

Going to try not to test early on next cycle because it makes me crazy!
