Understand I am really jumping the gun here... Currently TTC, admittedly it's not been that long.

Took a pregnancy test today - 7 days before my period and I almost cried that it was negative. FYI it was a clear blue dig.

Last period was 17th- 21st Nov ( as in 21st I bled and 22nd Nov was bleed free). Believed to have ovulated around 30th/1st Dec.

@bulletproofcoffee don't lose hope just yet, take another rest in a couple of days, some people show positive more closer to AF arrival date x

Oh, the two week wait. It is very, very soon after ovulation, but then you know that logically. Convincing your brain to take it easy is another challenge though. I've been there, wanting a bfp before Christmas as a delightful little secret. Try to be kind to yourself - it is still very early days.

Hey i can completely understand your anxiety. My last period was nov 2 i tracked ovulation its was around 21 and i bled 3 days brown color for 3 days dec 1,2,3. Used panty liner But -ve preg test in those days Which i am assuming was implantation bleeding. Now having pale yellow discharge. My preg test came positive today. But very faint line Currently worrying every hour about hcg not going up and praying. I lost my first baby at 5 weeks in sept cz that brown discharge never stopped and turned into periods. This time getting lots of rest helped i stopped going to gym started drinking lot of water and praying alot to calm myself. Sending lots of good vibes and prayers your way.

@Trustgod OMG that's so shit, I am really sorry for you. But you should very positive and taking the steps to stay calm - I am trying!!! Cut back gym too the past few weeks. I have some FRRR tests for the weekend.

If you ovulated on the 1st Dec you are 6dpo today, implantation happens between 6 and 12dpo so you aren't going to get a positive on 6dpo even if you are pregnant.

Try to wait until 10dpo at the earliest, you're upsetting yourself unnecessarily with this early testing!

Here's an interesting site that tells you the stats on tests, 6dpo you have a 3% chance of getting a positive even if you are pregnant

@bulletproofcoffee calm the hell down!! Haha

Did a FRRR yesterday - negative. Period due 14th December. Really hoping I still might be getting a BFP in a few days :(

I only got BFP at 15 dpo. There's a reason the packet says wait til period is due :) and don't cut down on gym purely because TTC. It's so important to keep doing things you enjoy in your life and not become obsessed.

bulletproofcoffee · 11/12/2023 14:41

I've just had a tiny amount of pink blood, so not looking positive :(

Oh @bulletproofcoffee I have been there. The sinking feeling, the bargaining with yourself that you may still be in with a chance. Two healthy babies later and the memory of that feeling is still clear. Good luck next cycle if the pink turns red xx
