TTC beginning of 2024!

Hi!

This is my first thread on here but always following everyone else's stories!
The time has FINALLY come for me and my partner, we have been together for just over 6 years and after spending the last 2 1/2 years building a brand new business from the ground up we are finally in a position and ready TTC!!

I've been ready for a very long time but the timing just hasn't been in our favour with a new business. I already have 1 son who is 8 from my ex partner and has been dying for a sibling for long enough and my partner has taken him on as his own but it'll be our first baby together.

Is anyone else planning TTC at the beginning of 2024? Is there anything I should be doing to prepare for the journey ahead?

You should be taking folic acid tablets & probably some vitamin D as well...a lot of people take tablets like Pregnacare to cover all bases.
My previous 2 pregnancies, I started taking Pregnacare at least 2 or 3 months before ttc. I continued taking it all throughout the pregnancies as well.

Try to take a relaxed approach if you can because I think stress makes it harder to get pregnant. Good luck!

pregnacare tablets are huge and expensive, you can get vitamin d and folic acid very cheaply
