Latest you’ve got a BFP after missed AF

Currently a week late, I had pink CM the day I was due but nothing since. Had cramping and fully expected AF to come but nothing since. Negative tests every morning too, I’m so confused and just want to know what’s happening. I’ve had an increase in yellow tinged CM which is very gloopy and stretchy, which has now gone to clear CM but still stretchy! Help me out ladies before I loose my mind x

Have you been unwell lately or under any stress which could delay your period?
It could sadly be an irregular period this month. I think the gp would ask you test again within a week and if nothing then you could make an appointment with them.

Hey I have no advice other than I'm in the exact same boat !

Currently cycle day 38 , and almost a week late , I came off the pill in September , had a withdrawal bleed 4 days later then a 34 day cycle , I was expecting to have another AF last Wednesday but still nothing.

Like you have had cramps etc so fully expected to come on , still testing BFN as well so pretty certain I'm not pregnant but just having a weird cycle.

I have spoken to my GP and have an appointment booked for next Thursday in case AF does not arrive .

I'm so frustrated though, just want AF now so I can start again !

Tests are 99% accurate from eggshell your period is missed - so probably just a late AF

Ive got an appointment tomorrow with the GP so will see what they say! I fell pregnant second month off the pill with my son, and it’s also second cycle off the pill this time! X

@Outliers completely with you on this - I don’t test for ovulation though unfortunately but did a few days & had another peak on 23rd of November so could have fallen pregnant later that I thought maybe…

Sadly it could be an irregular period. It took me 6 months for my period to come to some sort of normal after coming off the pill for the second time.

Other than cramps round about when I was due on last week I've had nothing, now all my AF symptoms have disappeared! I don't track ovulation I tend to go by my app and CM , so of course could have ovulated late but I doubt it

Just gotta wait for doctors next week or that AF finally shows !

@missdt89 same here! What’s your CM like at the moment?

Creamy white / milky at the moment and tbh I can't remember what it was like before the pill.

Im sure last month before AF was pretty dry xxx

With dd I only dtd on day 23 of my 28 day cycle... Period 2 weeks late before I got a positive test. Dd was a week late by my dates.. but they said she was on time.

@missdt89 mines been yellow tinged & it’s now got clear but it’s been so gloopy and stretchy! So strange as never had this before. I can’t remember what it was like before I found out I was pregnant with my son either 😫

@Santaiswashinghissleigh funny you actually say that as I’ve also dtd on the 23rd day of my cycle & possibly got a positive ish ovulation strip but I’m not 100%. Did you test before hand and all negative? X

Could just be irregular period, to be expect if you only came off pill recently?

@xxoakley it's all so strange , I think it's just a waiting game tbh , il likely test one last time tomorrow but then leave it until before my doctors app next week .

I think it's probably an irregular period but then you read stories of peri - menopause and it's terrifying, I'm 34 nearly 35 so I pray it's not that !

Just trying to relax but it's so difficult not knowing what's going on xx

@Daisies12 very true! I’ve came off a few times though and never missed a period. I’d been off the pill two months when I fell pregnant with my little boy! X

@missdt89 atleast we’ve got eachother to speak too! I’ve just read a forum and the girl didn’t get a positive test until she was 30 days late!

Like you I've come off the pill twice before and always gone back to regular cycles and by the second / third month got my BFP

I've never had a cycle this long before so its frustrating but it may be because I'm older now , who knows ! Xx

i had yellow stretchy cm in the luteal phase of my most recent cycle, where i became pregnant.

Morning ! Still no sign of AF here and another BFN this morning.

I'm not testing anymore , just gonna wait it out until I have doctors next week although I don't expect they will do much !

@missdt89 hi lovely! Doctors weren’t much help, said it could be a blip in my period or I could be pregnant and to test every week until my period shows (if it does). If nothing by next month then they’ll do my bloods for me! BFN this morning for me too!

I got a positive 2 days after my period was due. Unfortunately it was a chemical. I had a positive test for a few days but it never got any darker. I then came on my period 7 days after the expected date x

@xxoakley that's so frustrating I expect il get the same response next week tbh , by then my AF will be 2 weeks late !!!

Hopefully you have an answer either way , I'm gonna try not to test any more until next week it's becoming exhausting 😭

@missdt89 SO annoying and then I’m questioning myself like am I just making symptoms up in my head😂🙄 think I’ll test tomorrow as if I ovulated late I’d be 14DPO which is when I got a positive with my son & then I’ll leave it if it’s neg xxx

@xxoakley see I wish I had used ovulation strips to track but didnt , so my ovulation date is a guess really and was over 2 weeks ago !

I've got zero of my usual AF symptoms now but have had nausea and I'm so tired ! But that could all be stress of not knowing what's going on and like you I could just be overthinking everything!

I think I'm gonna try hold off until next week , I hope you get your BFP ! Keep me updated !
