10 DPO - should I just expect AF

Hi everyone,

as far as I know I’m 10 dpo today. Stark negative tests and I’m just losing hope for this cycle. Had some random symptoms but ignoring them as I don’t want to assign them as being indicative of anything.

with DD I had no symptoms and was a bit blasé about the whole TTC situation. This time I’ve checked for ovulation, tracked temperature etc and I feel like I’m a bit obsessed.

should I be expecting a BFP at this point? Got a negative today and feeling deflated. Anyone in a similar position?

Are you going to test again tomorrow? I think im around the same as you in terms of timeline... I say I wont test but watch I probably will knowing me haha xx

@Rainbowpeanut02 bloke sure to struggle. My hubby says he does his 30 seconds, as soon as a woman is pregnant everything changes for us. But, they can't control any of it, unlike many things in a marriage.

@Isthisrealomgwow DH says a similar thing that he does his 5 minutes and I have to do the 9 months haha...yeah it's true they have no control over it. I feel as though when you keep trying sometimes the fun of being intimate just goes out the window. Especially when your ovulating, DH now knows what ovulation and peak is now, he'll ask hows your app looking? haha but if I'm not sure he's like I'm not a machine hahaha bless them xx

Hey guys. So I really don’t know what to make of this. Did an early CB at mid day. I was convinced I could see something. Then a digital now tells me otherwise… can’t tell if I’ve just drank too much too early etc.

Too add to this I feel so bloody nauseous 🤮 made some soup today and nearly gagged eating it…. Got a lump in my throat thinking about it.

not getting my hopes up - probably flu 🤧 ‘tis the season.

Anyone? Please 🤣🤣

@EmmaLouu Ohhhh I feel you, Feel as though I’m getting all the symptoms under the Sun and still the BFN this morning. Today I’m 11 DPO, I think I’m out this time round, just want AF to come sooner than later.

I think if you can hold off for a couple of days and retest xx

@EmmaLouu It’s crazy all the symptoms we are getting. Today my right ovary has been killing me but can’t say it to the hubby, instead I’m saying I think my period is due, which I hope it isn’t!! Haha

I will probably take another test tomorrow, I can’t help myself. I’m also due on Wednesday, hoping we both have good news!! XX

Well an update; somewhat. Had some pink spotting and cramping today so I think AF is on the way! Hey ho! We go again, I’ll let you guys know otherwise. How are you all getting on?

@EmmaLouu hi!!! Yeah I’m pretty much out too… haven’t bothered testing today. Did a strip test yesterday and also did a first response test, both negative so I’m also out haha!

looks like next year it is! I did that old wives take tho, whereby you wrap a baby blanket under the tree, fingers crossed it brings me some baby dust!

Awwww at least you have a sign of AF, I’ve been cramping non stop, I was too scared to take pain meds but I’m pretty much 99.999% certain I have a BFN so started taking pain meds today to help ease the cramping.

I had a medical appointment today and the doc said that because my MMC happened naturally, these hormonal symptoms tend to linger on and can take the body some time to recover. Just great!

Guys, or anyone at this point - I’m CD 40, BFN today and absolutely done with this cycle (unless I get a miracle BFP).

I’ve toyed with the idea that I actually ovulated late. But still, CD40? I’m normally relatively regular and my cycles at average 29-34 days 🤔 I’m in limbo and to be honest getting sick of it. I’d rather AF or be pregnant… not just stuck in a grey area!

@EmmaLouu well… still no sign from AF for me and I think I ovulated very late. I hit my peak by randomly checking with my OPK and luckily DH was home so dtd. Now I’m CD 4 and back in the tww. I’m not expecting a BFP, I just want my cycle to go back to normal.

@Rainbowpeanut02 good luck this month. Ahh, I’m still waiting for it, what I thought was AF was just pink spotting. I feel like I’m going crazy. Currently CD41!

I think I’ll get my hands on an OPK and take it seriously to avoid this limbo!

@EmmaLouu ahhhh that’s good news! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you! The waiting is absolutely awful.
