Are these all Evaps on easy at home?

Hey I wonder if anyone can help me. I have been using easy at home strips for a while now and haven't had any issues with indents or evaps. I took one yesterday at 7/8 dpo and it was stark white. I took one this morning at 8/9 dpo and it was a solid line which came up within the 5 min frame. I then took another 3 through out the day and the rest all came up with strange broken lines. Has anyone had this before?

Hmm it's suspicious they all look the same and are quite dark for 9dpo? But it's hard to say - can you get hold of another brand?

I clicked on your thread because I've had a few evaps with easy@home this month. They didn't look like yours, but from some extensive googling, it does seem like evaps have been an issue recently with easy@home, unfortunately.

Some pics of my evaps and a screenshot from my frantic googling ...

Also, I hope they're not evaps in your case 🤞 haha sorry for spamming you with replies

overthinkersanonnymus · 30/11/2023 21:35

I've had horrible evaps just like these with a half line. I wouldn't trust those tests I'm afraid

Ahh thank you for sharing! I didn't frantically google too but couldn't see any evaps like this so just wasn't sure. It's strange that I used a bunch from the same pack over the last couple cycles and I didn't get any lines, and now 4 in a row Confused I'll try the last one I have left in the morning but not going to keep my hopes up. The first one had me for sure!😂

Ahh thank you! Definitely won't be getting my hopes up in that case. It's just frustrating cos the first one I did was so convincing lol! Not sure what's changed as I have taken about 15 others from the same pack previously and had no issues! Were all yours bad?

Atm they look like evaps. But you're still quite early so worth testing again in a few days.

Yeh I feel like they are. I'll continue testing, but will order different tests this time! Thanks

Also I'll be ordering a different brand this time. Don't want the heartache again lol

That's awful! Sorry about that, it really plays with your emotions seeing lines only to find out they're faulty tests. Won't be buying these buggers again!

@YellowZ

Yep!! And these were from a different batch a few months later.

I do actually still use this brand just because they're cheap but if I get a hint of a line, I don't get too giddy and always retest with another brand.

That second pic is very similar to mine from this morning. Sigh. Might try the pre-mom strips or do the same and not get excited at the sight of any line on the easy at home🙃

@Ilismummy94 if I wasn't two years in to it and a seasoned pro at peeing on a stick, I'd have 100% thought I was pregnant. Why wouldn't I after those tests?

I had some drama with wondfo as well. But like I said they're cheap and if you're an addict (like me) it's nice to have a box in the cupboard with some FRER for special occasions 😂

YellowZ · 30/11/2023 22:09

@overthinkersanonnymus I was thinking I'd definitely be getting the baby name book down off the book case with those lines 😳poor you

Sending you all the baby dust! It can get so tough. It's my 9th cycle trying for baby number 2 & ive just never seen an evap like this. I have had really faint looking lines in the past but never within the time limit.

May we get our good news soon! 🥰

Hi @Ilismummy94 have you retested?

I've just got one of the tests exactly the same as yours. It came up within 5 minutes!!

Hey yes I retested today (10dpo) with a clear blue digital and a tescos own brand and both negative ☹️ I did also use the last easy at home and surprise surprise.. another line lol (bottom one in the pic) still so baffled because these were the last few I had left of this pack, and the rest I used in previous months didn't even show a smudge! Nor did the 6/7 dpo test (the top one) 🤔

Deffo a bad batch going around I think! Did you use any other tests? I complained to Amazon and they're sending me replacement

@Ilismummy94 what was the outcome ? I complained to Amazon and the replacement box they sent me have worked great - but now getting lines and doubting them .. should get another brand to check but I’m trying to hold off .

Hey so I got another box and some of them worked ok but others had these sort of lines in them again. Don't think I'll be purchasing them again!
