Metallic taste, but only when I lick my skin??

This is a weird one. I'm 10 dpo or so, and don't have a metallic taste although I have noticed going off some foods already. However, I was working earlier and suddenly tasted very strong metallic taste, and realised it was just after I put my fingers near my mouth... so I've been checking and licking my own skin does make me taste very strong metallic taste! I asked BF and he can't taste it, and I also (lol) tried licking my laptop where I've been working and it's not from there.

Anyone else get this, is it pregnancy symptom or am I going mad? I've only ever heard people saying of a metallic taste generally, not from themselves! It's only near the tips of my fingers, but I haven't handled coins or metal at all really.

Elevated progesterone levels. Which in short means you can get this symptom right before your period and also when you're pregnant. Not helpful I know. Good luck
