I am such a dunce. I went to go and get a yoghurt and I got a 'spoon', went to sit down, put 'spoon' into yoghurt and into mouth and it was a fork

Idiot!!

I then went and put my work trousers on backwards!!

Diege · 26/03/2008 15:24

Oooh lots of excitement on (off) the wagon eh!! Just back from cinema to see Game Plan (pretty good!) to a possible testing scenario!
Love the houses too Kay! I think once you've got Whitby in your blood, it never leaves, tis a gorgoeus part of the world to live in I'd imagine. Think no.4 off to buy properties is up a bloody great hill though if I've located it right (though there are good bus stops there).
Have been thinking about your hard tummy Nat, and think there might be something in what one of the posters on the other thread (Belgo?) sad about post-MC pregnancy tummies - ie, that things are looser and will 'expand' quicker? I certainly remember having a little bump very quickly when I got pregnant with dd2, when dd1 was only 4 months - same sort of principle? I do hope you are!
Right, better get on with some work. Older dds have gone to friends for tea, so can't miss this opp! (after a cuppa & dd3s easter egg of course!).

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 15:25

Well it'll be about bloody time Pop! I suppose the fact that when this thread was started everyone was waiting has made it seem like we've been waiting for a BFP for longer than what we actually have IYKWIM?!

Kay, go and lie down sweetie, do you have a fever?

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 15:28

Yeah I dont fancy walking up a huge hill everyday. I like the 3rd one in the to buy ones. I love the location. I told dh I was going to jog up the 199 steps every morning.

popcornprincess · 26/03/2008 15:31

medical miscarriage was on the 24th Jan - it seems like I have been trying and waiting for ages though so IKWYM NJ!

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 15:31

I cant go and lie down Nat I have to take ds to mil and then go to work!!

On such a great note:

MOST HAUNTED LIVE starts tonight for the next 5 nights. My friend is meeting me from work tonight to have a Ciaran and Wigan party!!! She has suggested we wear masks to look like Yvette Fielding Roll on half 8!!

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 15:40

Diege, stop it, I am doing my best to forget about it..... ! I showed at 6 weeks (DS1's nursery teacher thought I was 6 months, when I was actually 6 weeks) and that was nearly 5 years after I'd had DS1. The MC, I was showing by about 5 and a half weeks, but it had completely gone again before this bump started. It still doesn't make sense with the 7-10 travelling of the egg to the wob and implanting and then the HCG forming though, unless I OV'ed earlier than I thought, but I've never got it wrong before, but then I was having trouble this month with distinguishing between EWCM and other stuff IYKWIM?! Could have sworn I did get it right though.....

Yes Pop, it seems so long since January (when I had my MC) but then it doesn't seem to have taken too long to get here at the same time.

kayzisbroody · 26/03/2008 15:41

Right I am off to boring work.

Have nice evenings all!!

Good Luck Pop!!

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 15:42

Oh god "7-10 days of the egg travelling to the womb" jeez.....

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 15:42

See you Kay, have a nice time.... sort of! LOL

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 26/03/2008 15:44

How exciting!!

But listen...ditch the Clearblue. They are only half as sensitive as First Response Early Response!!! FR can detect 25mlu and CB needs 50 or something like that...

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 26/03/2008 15:45

Maybe you are pumping LOTS of progesterone and making a really comfy, well-lined uterus for ickle blastocyst!!

Diege · 26/03/2008 15:46

Listen to the logistics lady, she speaks sense .
Aww Nat, methinks it will be on your mind CONSTANTLY until you know one way or the other! .
Oh and any Apprentice fans out there??? Big night tonight eh...

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 15:47

Pardon?

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 15:48

Sorry that was for Teuch!

Have watched the odd apprentice, mainly the ones they did for comic/sport relief, but not watched enough of either of them to fully get it...!

Diege · 26/03/2008 15:51

Start tonight!! Get into it!! I was like you at first, but now I am addicted!! (Will be a distraction from [whispers] 'you know what' anyway!

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 15:54

Can't start tonight, DH has me 'booked' he nipped home at lunch and gave me the puppy dog eyes and said "I miss your fanjo" think I might have to relent, if I'm not pregnant, I don't want to burn my bridges for next month!

popcornprincess · 26/03/2008 15:54

you lot are so up on these damn tests. let me get this straight - the clearblue digital are actually crap?

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 16:08

Not crap as such, if you were say 3-4 days late for your period, you would normally get a true result from them, but they are no good before or as your period is due.

Though I have never used one so am only going off others experiences.

popcornprincess · 26/03/2008 16:11

the bloody box says you can test up to 4 days before your period!!! Cheeky sods - how much money must they make from us women who just can't wait!?

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 16:16

I think it is one of those things, the box could say you can test up to 12 days before your perid, and then in very small print follow with, but expect a BFN!

Right I really must get tidied up, which is what I was supposed to be doing all day, instead of sat on here! LOL I haven't had a MN day since yesterday for a while though!

What time will you be on to tell us the result Pop? Will set alarm!!!

popcornprincess · 26/03/2008 16:22

Should have tested by 7pm so will be on shortly after that

Happy tidying NJ

NatalieJane · 26/03/2008 16:23

OK, 7.05 I'll be waiting, well I might not be on MN waiting, but will be asap after that!!

Good luck! Will keep everything crossed

popcornprincess · 26/03/2008 16:25

Thank you

Starshinetiger · 26/03/2008 16:39

ok, just a quick post, as am at work, so should be, erm, working...
Pop - v. excited, got fingers crossed for you.
Nat - v. excited for you too, we'll all be shouting at encouraging you to test soon too y'know!
Kay - how very exciting looking for a new house. Boo that you're at work now.
Have been doing a lot of thinking this week about TTC dates - plan was to start in May for an early Feb onwards due date, but really, if I think about how many people I know where it has taken a few months at least to conceive and who have had miscarriages and it would be extremely unlikely for us to conceive first month of TTC again as with DS and DH is now broody, as he has been speaking to his pal, whose DC2 was born a couple of weeks ago....
AF due Mon and then we're gonna go for it!!
Can't be arsed with waiting any longer due to work - work is crap and I miss being at home with DS. Am now only 1 stone heavier than pre-DS, so will still keep going with diet, but am not going to stress about it too much - will just try to eat very healthily and get that sorted to maintain a healthy weight.
So have jumped straight off the wagon - none of this sticking my toes out, or sunbathing on the roof (although if I was, I'd be admiring my pert boobies and size 10 figure (I'd never be a size 8, even in my fantasies!), eating calorie-free choccie, drinking calorie-free red wine, or actually Pimms, 'cos the sun would be shining).
Hope you're all having good days, think I'll be cracking the wine open this evening in hopeful anticipation of enjoying it for a limited period before I'm off it for a year or so!
