see this thread

gah!

BigTeuchLittleTeuch · 13/03/2008 08:09

Grrrr Disenchanted

I have used these before, though, and not a hint of a line...must be a dodgy batch?

Still, you are still at 'inconclusive' stage, as opposed to a true false negative. Everything crossed for you!

I'm CD16 and still nothing on the OPK's and beginning to wonder if ewcm other day was not . CP is all over the place but not really softened yet so perhaps not OV yet.

Late OV is very frustrating, but as long as it happens I shouldn't complain!!

Have posted on your thread Disenchanted, also for you.

Teuch (cool new name BTW!!!) complain away. I don't like it when we feel we can't moan because 'someone else has got it worse', it is very true someone else has got it worse, but that doesn't really make anyone feel any better, does it?!

Morning Pink

calsworld · 13/03/2008 08:55

Hi all,

Very quick post coz I'm back at work now...

Questions answered and wait is over, AF arrived late last night and something tells me its going to be a biggie.

Don't anyone dare sympathise - be pleased that AF has arrived coz now I know where I am. I was more concerned that I'd had an anovulatory cycle which is a road I don't want to go down - but having endo could have been a real possibility.

So, is today CD1 or CD2? When does BD begin? As soon as AF goes away and then every other night or what? Got no chance of knowing when I'm going to OV have I! Never got technical last time but I want to get pg as soon as possible in order to get smallest possible gap between DS and DC2!

I'll try and catch up at lunchtime - Dis, haven't had time to read your thread but hope everything's ok.

Hello everyone! a new thread

my CM was thin and clear and there was lots of it and then yesterday it changed to thicker, and way more stretchy. does it mean i have ovulated when the CM was thin and clear and stretchy? or when it was thicker and stretchy?

Kay, i think it is a good idea to bd every other day from when AF is finished. just in case. good luck!

ordered HPT from babymad.com last night. i read on another thread that they are good.

Heron23 · 13/03/2008 09:03

Calsworld, I would say BD as soon as AF is finished. BD every other day. i agree it is good that AF has arrived, so you know where you are.

popcornprincess · 13/03/2008 09:06

Heron - cervical mucas info

Diege · 13/03/2008 09:31

Morning . Agree cals, it's good that you know where you are at least. And if you are on cd2 we are cycle buddies . Although I'm not trying yet! Thinking asbout it, with my af being a week early, it may tip my ttc month to end of April, which seems so much closer than May .
DISENCHANTED, hold on in there! Testing CAN be exciting I think, especially when done nice and early, and if af isn't due yet and you've been having faint lines, I would say that things are looking very positive. I didn't get BFPs with any of my pregnancies until 3 or 4 days post-af due date .
A skiving 'working from home' day today, so hopefully will get lots of chances to pop on. dh's birthday tomorrow, so really hoping that the presents I ordered him arrive in post today!!

Heron23 · 13/03/2008 09:34

THanks Popcornprincess!

largeginandtonic · 13/03/2008 09:37

Morning all. Good news on AF Cal, good to know where you are. It helps when getting due dates right etc...

largeginandtonic · 13/03/2008 09:39

We have been having a gof every day, except 1 this month. Sometimes i have been too tired and just said to dh get on with it and be quick He obliges of course.

Playingthewaitinggame · 13/03/2008 09:50

Morning ladies, lovely new thread I see. Am I still allowed on as I am still clinging to the wagon?

Glad you at least know where you are in your cycle now Cal. If it couldn't be a BFP, AF was the next best thing, cos at least you can get on with it again!

I'm on CD31 today but not expecting AF for a few more days. Actually I am quite curious to see when she comes this month. I got EWCM on CD21 but only a bit and then I got lots on CD25 so I am thinking I tried to ov on CD21 but didnt but then ov'ed on CD25. Last month I think my LP was 12 days so in theory if I ov'ed on CD25 I should get AF on CD37. Does that sound right?

BeMyLilBaby · 13/03/2008 09:57

morning all

playing im still on the wagon, just pressed the bell and wiating for my stop as it where but of course your still welcome! i dont get cycles so im not much help im afraid

Cal glad you got AF IYSWIM cos as you said now you know!

i really cant focus here today x

Playing, yes I think that does sound quite accurate - the EWM is always the easiest and most accurate sign for me, and it sounds like you're using these pre-ttc months well in getting used to what your body's doing (but without any of the ttc stress!!). And you are certainly on the wagon, just maybe not on the front row yet . I'm on a seat about mid-way down the wagon I think.
Great link POPCORN . Have got it right that EWM signifies imminent ovulation (so lots of gofs) but when the actual egg is released and is 'there' the EWM dries up? (so worth a few more days of GOF after EWM???) Think this is where I went wrong when ttc dd3, so really helpful to know

Heron23 · 13/03/2008 10:04

If you ov'ed on CD25 then, AF should come 14 days later, so on CD39. i think

BeMyLilBaby · 13/03/2008 10:07

oh ive jus had a maccyd's egg and sausage mc muffin .. . i lurve guilty pleasures

largeginandtonic · 13/03/2008 10:15

Oh bemy i wish you hadnt said that, i really want one now

I have tingly weird boobs but dont think i have ovd yet. Thought it was supposed to be this weekend but i did have some ?EGG WHITE last week i think.

Playingthewaitinggame · 13/03/2008 10:25

I've just had porridge and it was good.

Is Heron right??? I thought your LP stayed the same every month? I know most women have a 14 day LP but that it could be 10-14 days? Am pretty sure mine was 12 days last month (without checking my diary) so does that mean it should be 12 days again this month? All this cycle montitoring is hard work, I think I might have to satrt producing a graph on excel!!

Diege · 13/03/2008 10:32

Playing, I think the LP length is quite controversial - most books even say 14 days after ovulation, (ie, 'late' af = late ovulation). More recently however, experts are saying many women have shorter/longer phases. And there are mumsnetters who plot it all (with temps!) on excel spreadsheets! You might be able to get away with that one in the office too, no one would ever guess
