Gynocologist appointment in the TWW

We’re currently ttc at the minute I’m on CD 29. Not sure when I ovulated as we’ve not been tracking using sticks but I’ve had bloating and other symptoms since about CD 16. I did a test 3 days ago and it was negative, so now just gunna wait for my period to turn up finger crossed it doesn’t.

Anyways my question is… I came off the pill in December 2022 and since then I’ve had irregular period. I’ve had an ultrasound and blood test and theyre normal. I also have a toddler who is 2 year 7 months and since having her via emergency C-section sex has been very painful. So I’ve been referred to a gynocologist and I’ve got my appointment in tomorrow. If I don’t start my period before then shall I mention it to them? Because I don’t want them pressing on my stomach and stuff if there might be a baby in there? And would they be able to do the appointment because if I’m pregnant then surly they won’t be able to see why my periods are irregular and why sex hurts??
(I’ve never had a gyno appointment before so unsure what happens during them)

Assuming you are pregnant, it would be incredibly unlikely an examination would cause any damage - especially as embryo would be size of a poppy seed.

Moreover, you can always take a test in the morning? If its negative you've got nothing to worry about.
