Getting pregnant after stopping the pill

me and my partner have known for a while we wanted another baby, ive just stopped the pill just over a week ago as we've decided to start trying. I bleed for a week after stopping the pill, is there any way to know when I'm ovulating or will I not know until I get my next period. Think I'm just feeling very impatient. Also any experience of how quickly you became pregnant after stopping the pill?

It took me 8 months to fall pregnant after coming off of the pill. I think they say allow roughly 3 months for your body to get into a routine though? My friend came off, had sex once and fell pregnant so it's all completely variable!!! Good luck xxx

Are you using OPKs to track your ovulation? If not, that would be a good starting point to understand what's going on.

I came off the combined pill in March this year and conceived in July - it was our 4th cycle trying as we waited a cycle to start after I came off the pill (although unfortunately the pregnancy ended in a loss).

I came off the mini pill 9 days ago to try for our 2nd child. So far, no bleeding. I'm using clearblue ovulation predictor & showing low so far. When we conceived our first child, I came off the pill & used the same ovulation tests & fell pregnant within 3 months. Fingers crossed it happens soon 🤞

I came off the pill end of September, had my withdrawal bleed just after and then my period came exactly a month later. I was worried it would take a while for it to come back but it was there like clockwork! That first month I felt so weird though, I suppose that was my body just figuring itself out. We started trying this month and I've tracked with OPKs and all looks to be back to my normal cycle, but I think the best way would be to try and track your ovulation with the OPKs to get the best idea of when you are ovulating x
