1DPO today, any ladies want to join and share the symptoms spotting for the next 2 weeks! X

Me please - I’m 2 or 3 DPO and said I would not symptom spot this time (previous two times have ended in MC) but it’s so hard not too!

Mangobango · 19/11/2023 14:06

I'm 7dpo but I'd like to join too to keep myself sane through this stressful 2ww😩. I came off the contraceptive pill 6 months ago and it gave me so many pms symptoms which was frustrating because i would mistaken these symptoms for pregnancy. This cycle I have had no distinct symptoms yet. I just feel a little bloated and gassy.

TTCnewbies · 19/11/2023 14:29

I'll join please. We DTD Friday but didn't yesterday because I had some unexplained bleeding (random!) But still been doing ovulation strips and had a darker line this morning so we will DTD today and tomorrow and basically until line gets faint. Then will be in the TWW.

Good luck all.

pm24 · 19/11/2023 17:02

Hellooo ladies! I say I won't symptom spot but I know I will! Have been ttc since 2020 and have had one mc. Have tried SMEP this cycle so really hoping it works!

MissSB18 · 19/11/2023 19:36

I'd love to join please 😊

This is the first month I haven't used ovulation strips so I'm not entirely sure when I ovulated but I think I'm roughly 2dpo according to body / app prediction. Wanted to have a more relaxed approach but its now mind games if/when I ovulated 🤣 so I'm almost more obsessed... let's keep each other sane on the dreaded TWW x

Mangobango · 19/11/2023 20:07

When are you all planning on testing? Are you early testers or waiting to miss your AF. Last month I started to test as early as 7 dpo. So tempted to test tomorrow when I will be 8 dpo but I don't want to see a disappointing negative test. Stressful times these are.

firstlittlebub · 19/11/2023 20:25

Hi everyone. I’m 2dpo. I’ve had weird cramps today, central lower but def period type pains. Baby dust to all

27andcounting · 19/11/2023 21:56

Me..... I'm 1dpo or day of ovulation, I don't know when it class when you get a positive LH strip test going to try to hold off testing as much as I can but know full well I'll be symptom spotting because I just can't not.

pm24 · 19/11/2023 22:23

AF is due 1 dec so I am going to try and avoid testing! I say try, ask me again in a week and I'll probably have gone through a pack of tests! 🫣 I want to try and stay relaxed and not think too much about it, maybe symptom spot here and there but more to get in tune with my body rather than to google! I remember last time I had a stye and googled if that was a symptom 😭 baby dust to all!

Hey there, may I join please! Im 5 dpo and going insane with the symptom spotting!
Im 42 and TTC #2. Been trying on and off for 2-3 years, health issues on both sides have meant its been pretty inconsistent. I had a laparoscopy in June for endo. Had a 10cm cyst removed from my ovary and had my tubes flushed and checked - they are fine and no more endo so my consultant said Im good to go and should make the most of this first year post-surgery.
This month we have tried SMEP for the first time, followed it as closely as we could - 4 days in a row exactly over ovulation (tracked with easy@home OPK), then missed a day then one more go. We are both knackered!! But if that's what you have to do to get pregnant over 40 then so be it 😂

Have had period like cramping all day, but Im due on Sat/Sun so could just be lead up to AF, I do get that. No other symptoms apart from the usual tiredness and cranky which again could just be AF. I'll hold off on testing until AF is late, find it too heart-breaking getting negative tests 😟

Wishing baby dust to everyone!!

27andcounting · 20/11/2023 21:02

@pm24 I'm due 2nd according to my apps. I'm exactly the same, really want to try and not test this time around, especially because we're having a little break after this cycle. Haven't been trying long compared to some but both husbands and DD birthdays are October and want to avoid same time again. We're starting next year and will continue no matter how many months from there.

Baby dust to you! Hope it's your month! We also tried SMEP this month and boy we exhausted too! The only thing I didn't do was have a day off but that's because we didn't start until CD9 opposed to CD8. We dtd CD 9,11,13,15,16,17,18. I got my surge on CD 15 and I knew I'd ovulate CD 17/18 so didn't want to miss any days! By CD19 my LH levels were low again.

Hi all, so with the easy @ home tests would you say once you get a strong line thar ovulation is that day, or the next?
We DTD Friday, Sunday and Monday. Had a strong line Sunday and less strong Monday. Would you say we need to DTD tonight too. Line was still there this morning but getting fainter.

Also does anyone know if bleeding during ovulation can affect chances? I bled Saturday and yesterday but not sure why. I'm normally pretty regular. It wasn't constant but needed a pad Saturday.

Mangobango · 21/11/2023 14:48

@TTCnewbies Ovulation usually takes place 24-36 hours after LH surge. So after getting a positive ovulation test you can assume that you ovulate the next day. So like you said Monday should have been the day you ovulated. After ovulation the egg waits to be fertilized within 12-24 hours. So yes you could still be fertile today.

MissSB18 · 21/11/2023 17:42

Hey ladies, when is everyone planning to test? I say it every month that I'll wait until period is due 🤣 but haven't stuck to that plan yet.. I want to hold out until at least 10dpo which will be Monday! Baby dust for us all 😘 x

TTCnewbies · 22/11/2023 07:56

Thanks @Mangobango that's really helpful.

@MissSB18 this is try number 3 for us. Both times before I tested quite a few times. I really hope to not test this time until AF due but I know I'll probably cave. But other part of me doesn't want to deal with seeing another blank negative.

Mangobango · 22/11/2023 09:35

I tested positive at 9dpo yesterday Was very shocked as I had little to no symptoms.

Rainbowxx · 22/11/2023 10:45

Hi, please could I join. AF due 4th December, I think I am only 1dpo going off OPKs & ovulation pain. Told my self that I wouldn’t obsess over the TWW as it’s our first month TTC after a miscarriage last year but here I am 🙈 wishing everyone luck xx

Congratulations!! That's so exciting!! How are you feeling? Is this #1 for you or have you been pregnant before? I'll keep fingers crossed its a sticky bean for you! 😊

I'm 7DPO today and pretty sure all my "symptoms" are just AF gearing up, most likely be too early to be pregnancy symptoms. On and off dull aches, had some twinges in my uterus area last night, no CM at all (I had EWCM as my first clue when I was pregnant with DD) so I'm pretty sure I'm out this month 😔AF due any time between Sat and Tues (can be quite irregular) so I've a long time to wait before testing! I never test before AF due, cant handle the nerves and disappointment!! I think I always seem to know its AF on it's way rather than actually pregnant anyway.
We aren't going to continue TTC much into the new year, probably give up around March/April due to our age and the stress it puts on us if it's never going to happen so I feel like these months are our last chance. Talk about pressure!! 😝If it gets to that point I will just be trying to clear my mind of it and pour all my love into DD and be thankful for what I have.

Mangobango · 22/11/2023 16:32

Thank you for all your wishes! Sending baby dust x

@MrsDR This is my first pregnancy and I've always wanted to start a family but I didn't know I'd get so nervous after seeing that positive test😂. Hope my body can take care of the baby growing inside and I hope I can be a good mum too!

Also I was getting some of my normal AF symptoms too. It's probably just the progesterone rising. Every woman and every pregnancy is different so you never know. 7dpo is very early. You may not have even implanted yet. And yes if it doesn't work out I always think it's the universe's way of telling you that it wasn't the best for you and to be grateful for what you have so that's a really nice way to think about it. Sending baby dust x

Starlight11111 · 22/11/2023 23:46

Can I join please? 2DPO, AF due 3rd Dec. Had a miscarriage in June and a chemical on my last cycle, trying for our first. Baby dust to you all and congratulations @Mangobango!!

Rainbowxx · 23/11/2023 13:59

@Nic17 Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I am 2DPO today and already finding the wait difficult just want to fast forward 2 weeks!! feel like I’m driving myself insane. Also trying for our first :)

congrats @Mangobango that’s amazing news

27andcounting · 23/11/2023 15:12

Already trying to talk myself down from symptom spotting only 4dpo, too early for anything to actually happen and yet I'm convincing myself it is or isn't my month.
