my dy21 blood test just came and my gynae is happy with it, showed that i had ovulated and the level of progesterone is high so that the womb lining is thick for implantation! she said that if i am not pg this month, try again next month before going on clomid (due to my age, 42) we dont want to wait for too long

Congratulations Mad!!! My ds is 14 months now, so a close gap for me too (IF IF IF, ha ha!) Now how will you tell your dp/dh? Does he have any idea?
Who else is going to wait all weekend? I have to hold out until Monday, I bought a test today and it's all I can do not to open it and do it now!
I'm in Canada by the way, three hours time difference.
Time for lunch, will check in again tomorrow!

thanks shu. Yes he knew i was testing due to the xray issue. I did it at 6am woke him up and said ive got something to tell you, we're having another baby he goes excellent, gave me a hug and went back to sleep leaving me standing there shaking!!

Naturally its all down to him.. says its down to his great swimmers

Aaah, lovely!
Well, I got af this evening, good thing I didn't waste the test. It might come in handy at a much later date!
I'm a little disappointed but mostly relieved; my oldest starts school this year and I'm looking forward to a bit more quiet time for awhile yet!
Good luck Heron and everyone else!

ah, shu, at least you're not too upset. i think it is hardest for those of us waiting ttc the first child.

i look at my DS and think, if this never works, i wont be too upset

Thanks. Though my boobs are sorer than they have ever been (I don't usually notice sore boobs when I'm getting my period) which is a big pain. But I know this is proper AF not just abit of hormonal bleeding - can tell as it is proper flow etc. Bah!

not sure whether to buy an expensive one, instead of trusting the cheapies ? any opinion anyone?
