Im offically 1dpo! Does anyone want to join me in the agonising TWW?!

@BatildaB i am so sorry to read this. Sending so much baby dust for this cycle! We can keep each other company on here still!

Im not doing anything different this cycle but i do have a scan on Monday just to check my ovaries for any new endometrioma cysts. Would be handy if they told me if i look like im going to ovulate but im not sure if they will!

@MrsL2019 thanks, lots of baby dust your way too! Christmas bfps would be nice.

Would be great if you can get some extra info out of the scan, fingers crossed they can tell you something helpful!

What cycle day is everyone on? I'm on Cd6 but my clear blue machine is wanting me to test from tomorrow I'm really hoping for a bfp before Christmas fingers crossed for us all

@BatildaB christmas BFP would be super special! I feel so much pressure this cycle with it being the cycle i fell pregnant with my girl. I feel like if it doesnt happen this cycle i have no idea when it may happen if that makes sense.

@Tiffany88 i think im cd10 but cant be sure after my weird AF this cycle! I usually get my peak around cd15 so i guess we will see. Im going to start opks today, how are you feeling this cycle?

@MrsL2019 our cycles are pretty close together then, I'm feeling positive so far just really nervous if anything I'm worried how I'll feel if we get bfn how are you feeling sorry ti hear about your chemical I've had 1 before too

@Tiffany88 BFNs are the devil, but to be honest i find seeing AF just as bad! I know some peoplr would rather see AF than a BFN but its all the same to me!

I feel a lot of pressure this cycle, but im trying to not let it creep into my head. Its just impossible

Yes I understand I feel quite a bit of pressure too but I'm just trying to keep busy so I'm not thinking about it too much otherwise it seems to consume all my thoughts

Hi ladies thought I'd pop back on, I'm cd13. Intended to use clearblue opks this month but have left it a bit late so just using up the end of the cheapie Amazon sticks I had and trying not to think too much about it. Apparently I should ovulate on Friday if premom is to be believed. I would love to be pregnant at Christmas. Hope you're all doing well Xx

How is everyone doing?

I had my scan today which confirmed the endometrioma cyst is back on my left ovary. Its only been 8 months since i had it removed and apparently its quite big. Not sure what this means for me and TTC, i guess ill just keep going until i either fall pregnant or get called back in for surgery again!

@MrsL2019 I don’t know anything about cysts.. I hope it doesn’t cause you any issues, but it sounds like you’re in good hands with it if it does need further intervention?

@GHJ good luck! I prefer the sticks and app, feel like it gives more of an idea what’s going on than smily faces!

I’m just approaching my fertile window (if on normal timetable after last cycle’s cp), and I have the lurgy, in bed with a temperature, and feeling massively stressed and overworked. Makes me feel like this cycle is probably a write off already..

@BatildaB its not nice when you already feel like your out before the tww has even started! Nothing worse than trying to BD when your ill!!

I'm cd14 and last cycle was LH high then positive cd 16 through 18. Unless I'm going back to 60 + day cycles which I'm dreading happening again!

Hope everyone is doing ok! Im currently 1dpo! My peak number on premom was 2.13, ive never had one this high! Although i have heard the numbers mean nothing

My last cycle I had twice the lh peak I usually do and that obviously led to almost something so maybe it can be a good sign..

Hiya all I think I'm due to ovulate had a sting positive ovulation test, I'm wondering how I'll know when I'm 1dpo? I've never really used ovulation tests, do I need to keep testing I still just had high on the clear blue monitor but I'm assuming it'll be peak tomorrow

@GHJ i’m cd 8 or 9 (premom app seems to give a bonus day after a chemical..), have sometimes had peak as early as 10 but usually a bit later so i might be better in time. Hope you get an lh peak in the next few days, and that it’s not a long cycle. 60 days would be maddening, at least a tww is finite.

@Tiffany88 I don’t know how clearblue works, i use premom app and easy@home strips. But it should be the day after your peak is ovulation day, so then day after that is 1dpo. If you’re temping you can confirm more precisely, as ovulation might be later after peak.

I’m worrying about whether fever in follicular stage can damage a potential pregnancy and if i should skip this cycle. Really hard to tell from a google whether it’s a risk or not.

@BatildaB thank you these are the results from pre mom and the cheap test so do you think I'll ovulate tomorrow the top test is from earlier today and the bottom one is from about 5 minutes ago

Don’t know if the different cheap strips behave any differently but yeah that looks high! If it goes down tomorrow then today is your peak. Peak day is your most fertile day, more than ovulation day - maybe you already know that but I didn’t realise at first!

@MrsL2019 @Tiffany88 glad it’s not just me that didn’t always know all this stuff!

I wouldn’t put too much stock in the actual numbers but eg this website has these figures, https://proovtest.com/blogs/blog/high-fertility-vs-peak-fertility#:~:text=As%20you%20can%20see%2C%20while,this%20is%20called%20peak%20fertility.

• 27%: 3 days before (high fertility)
• 33%: 2 days before (high fertility)
• 41%: 1 day before (peak fertility)
• 20%: Ovulation day

I think it’s because of sperm capacitation, they need 10 hours or so to get ready, and the egg expires quite quickly. So you want to get well ahead of the egg, not wait for it to pop out then respond!

Feeling quite frustrated with this cycle. Cd19 and no peak yet, had positive tests cd16 through cd18 last cycle but nothing at all yet. Haven't been dtd much as really not getting much time currently but I'm already expecting this to be one of the horrible long cycles I've been having again as cycle before last I tested for 42 days, never got a peak and ended up being 60day cycle. Apparently I don't have pcos so not sure why this is happening but feels so disheartening.

@GHJ im so sorry you feel like this. I cant imagine how hard it is having such long cycles. Have you considered endometriosis if you have any symptoms of it?

Im 4dpo today, AF due a week tomorrow i usually spot a few days before but i didnt start spotting last cycle til the day of AF meaning AF didnt show fully til past my predicted date. So i guess its just a guessing game!

@GHJ that sounds so frustrating, especially since with testing you can’t just forget about it for a bit but have constant reminder/thing to remember.

I’ve been lh testing while ill and don’t think it peaked, am feeling a bit better now and fever has dropped, will see if ovulation is delayed or taking a month off in a couple of days i guess.

@MrsL2019 I had a scan a few months ago and everything looked normal so shouldn't be endometriosis but who knows. We're expecting a fertility referral at some point but it's been a couple months already since GP requested it so waiting game really I think.

@BatildaB sorry to hear you've not picked up a peak either. It's exactly right what you say at least if you've peaked you have a finite point where you'll be expecting AF and will know one way or another. My first really long one that was 65 days I just wanted AF to come as much as I wanted to be pregnant the not knowing was horrible. Hope your peak comes soon xx
