Pregnancy test faint morning dark at night? So confused

My tests are extremely faint with fmu. I'm scared they are getting lighter so because of my paranoia I took one tonight and it was dark. What the heck is that about. I was told to use fmu. Should I rely on my nighttime or morning test

FMU is generally the most concentrated for women , but it’s not always the case (was afternoon for me). Try and test once a day at the same time with the same brand if you wish to keep an eye on progress.

Do you drink lots of fluids in the evening? FMU can be too diluted if you are a big water drinker
Try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know, I'm a big worrier), maybe leave the testing for a day or two if it's getting you stressed because they say hcg doubles every 48 hours so you might get a stronger more reassuring positive in a day or twos time x

@M00nknight hey, I am currently 9w pregnant and I had this! I was using FRER morning and evening and evening were much darker than morning... I ended up switching to evening only for line comparison. Other test types didn't appear to be affected though... It was very weird and panicked me at the beginning thinking it was a chemical pregnancy but I think it might have been to do with an interaction with biotin which is in my supplements that I take at night time so would be present in morning urine.. at least that's the only explanation I could find! Wishing you all the best!
