I had a chemical on day 5 of my cycle. I was only about 14dpo.
I'm now on day 17 of my cycle which is when I usually ovulate and my tests are super low..I don't usually get a very high positive but get a surge but my numbers are still about 0.08 (I usually peak at about 0.4).
How long did it take you to ovulate afterwards and was your period also delayed by that amount
As I have a short luteal phase and we suspect that's what caused the chemical so have progesterone now to help. But don't know if it's worth using it this month or not.
