Implantation Bleeding - Thought it was my Period!

I had a MMC in September, we started to TTC 2 weeks afterwards after the all clear from EPU. I was testing my ovulation but never got a high or peak, I was also doing pregnancy tests which were negative. My last BFN was 2 weeks ago.

I decided to just stop testing ovulation and let my period come as I had no idea when it would happen. I started bleeding 4 days ago with what I thought was my period, it was pretty heavy which I expected it to be., it lasted 4 days with the bleeding. Started with spotting and then bleeding.

Today I'm CD6 and I've started to track ovulation again but when I tested it was high! I then did a pregnancy test and it's positive!!

Has anyone experienced heavy implantation bleeding??? I'm so confused right now 🤯

Hi @Sunny192 yes this happened to me in January. I had what I thought was a period for 4-5 days. It never crossed my mind that it might be implantation as it was quite heavy. A week later I had a bit of spotting after dtd which never happens, I had a blazing dark opk which I'd read can pick up some hcg so I did a test and got a BFP. Unfortunately the pregnancy wasn't viable and I had a MMC in March I don't think it had anything to do with the early bleeding tho which the doctors said was just heavy implantation. So fingers crossed for you 🤞

I had this last month. Had “period” as normal, still getting mad symptoms so tested ovulation then HCG, to my utter shock it was positive.

Unfortunately in my case it was a chemical, and I bled a second time heavy around a week later, the tests eventually returning to negative.

I expected this from the lack of progression on tests, though, and prepared myself.

EPU confirmed.

On the positive side, 3 weeks later I am pregnant again and this time tests looking more promising so 🙏🏼

I’m experiencing something similar. My af arrived on Thursday 2 days early (I’m rarely early) and very late at 10pm (usually it arrives first thing in the morning) so I put a tampon in and went to sleep. The next day was heavy bleeding but lighter the normal. The day after was light bleeding didn’t even fill a tampon but red. Today morning was still red but later turned brown and right now its just creamy discharge that’s brown with some clear mucus. Also I had minimal cramps for half a day, definitely not like me. I’m scared to test and just wonder if there is such thing as heavy implantation.

Unfortunately it turned out to be a chemical!

This is my 3rd miscarriage, but I'm staying positive and hoping to have my miracle soon 🤞🏻
