Peak day…LH surge twice?

I got my static smiley after only one day of flashy smiley so did the deed both days (Fri and Saturday) so ovulation should have been Sunday. I took a strip test this morning at 1DPO and it was a really strong line so now I’m thinking did my body try to ovulate and is attempting again?! I know sperm lasts up to 5 days but now worried there’s less chance as it’s not as close to ovulation.

Hi, I think it’s more likely your LH was still high on the come down from your peak. You ovulation is 24-48 hours after your peak so your ovulation day could technically be today if your peak was Saturday.

Thank you, that does make sense. I’ve never checked again after getting my peak and then to see it still high I thought oh no I didn’t do the deed as close to ovulation as I thought!
