Looking start TTC soon (DC2) but the way things would line up I could potentially be anywhere from 12-6 week’s pregnant on a pre planned holiday. With DC1 I had heavy morning sickness in the first trimester that eased early second trimester and was gone by the end of the second. I did still manage to go to work but that was pretty much it. Meals out / events etc I did go to but I recall being a struggle somewhat but I suspect them magic hormones are playing it down in my head how bad it was 😂 But I do remember spending a lot of time on the sofa / in bed in the early days. The only reason I’m considering going for it and putting up with the consequences is that I will have a young child to entertain anyways and hibernating in bed from 6pm onwards like last time isn’t going to be a choice. So my mindset is if I have to be up and about feeling sick I may as well be on holiday? Just looking to see if anyone else had experienced a holiday with MS and if it ruined it? And if as I say I’m being blinded by the hormones telling me it ‘wasn’t that bad’ am I being silly to take the chance of being in the peak of MS while on holiday? It’s not really something you can discuss with friends and family (personally for me anyways) so I’m looking for the honesty of strangers on MN 😅

*also I know it could take months to conceive but we were lucky enough first try last time so I’m planning that it may be that quick again.

I think just TTC and deal with it if it happens. You might not even be sick this time.

We conceived immediately first time and now I’m on cycle 2, so it’s worth bearing in mind you also might not. Don’t go into it thinking you definitely will as I did and I’m really unexpectedly sad that AF has arrived today. I think you can’t time and plan everything.

Enjoy your holiday! And best of luck and baby dust x
