Endometriosis and PCOS so super irregular cycles and never sure when is “late” or not but did this test this morning (CD36) just because I was feeling so miserable and irritable yesterday plus needed to pee constantly.

is this positive?! 😍

what do I do??? Do I need to wait until it’s a darker line??? Do I need to speak to a doctor or is it still too early??

That looks positive, congratulations!

you could contact your gp and ask them hat the next steps are for your area. In mine, the gp does a blood test to confirm before being referred to midwife but I know other areas you just self refer to midwife. I know your cycle is irregular but they’ll ask your last period date and try confirm dates around that.

Phone your surgery and ask for procedure. Very few places confirm the pregnancy, not even with a pregnancy test and the majority of places you don't even see the GP, you book in straight to see the midwife. Here, you are seen between 8 and 12 weeks for a booking appointment.

OoooOOOooooo looks like a positive to me. ☺️
Contact GP at some point before 12 weeks and ask to be referred to maternity services iirc.

Yes! Also I'd recommend testing using another brand. I always got faint lines on those ones and darker lines on every other brand. So you may get an even darker line than you're expecting!

Thank you everyone! I’m actually in shock.

I think I’ll call the GP first thing Monday and give myself the weekend of test and retesting to try and believe the results!! will defo try a couple of different brands. I know logically the whole 48hrs thing but I’m already impatient to try again 🤦🏻‍♀️

how am I meant to work today?! 😂

I keep getting twinges and aches and panicking a little.

congratulations 🥰

I had a faint positive today at 9 DPO and I’m just running through different scenarios in my head, I cannot concentrate on work at all!

Im going to do the same as you and keep testing over the weekend then ring the docs on Monday. Fingers crossed for both of us!

If you have anything needing doing you've been putting off, get it done now the exhaustion at 5 weeks is epic! Falling asleep on the sofa etc at the drop of a hat... I went from training for a marathon to hardly being able to climb the stairs in the space of 24 hours at the 5 week point.
You usually come out of it at 3 months but be prepared. 😁

TokyoSushi · 20/10/2023 11:16

Looks good, congratulations!!

@glasshalffull0 congrats!!! My brain keeps bouncing between thinking sooooo far ahead to “oh god worst case scenario what if it all goes wrong” to “ooooooo tiny socks😍”. Feel like my energy is going a million miles an hour
