Bad cramps and a lot of confusion

Not sure where else to put this lmao.

Hi.

I've been ttc for a few months now. I took a pregnancy test on the 25th of September. I looked at the test after 10 mins and nothing. Another 10 mins passed, and there was a faint line. I disposed of the test, thinking nothing of it. Probably just an indent.

I have PCOS and still haven't had my period but I have assumed this to be normal as I only get about 2 or 3 periods a year. I did have one in August.

Last night, I had quite bad cramps in my uterus. I asked my fiance to check my cervix for me (I know, I know - bad!) but I had to know. He said its slightly open, medium in height and firm. When he removed his fingers, they were covered with thick, cloudy white mucus. I was shocked by how thick it was and so was he.

These cramps went on for about 2 hours. They would come and go in waves. Inconsistent. I had the same cramps this morning. I have never felt this particular type of cramp, ever. It frightened me so much.

I'm gonna be booking into the gp next week as I have no other option to wait. But I am scared. Has anyone else had this?? Thank you.

How are you doing @Jadehiggs? What did the cramps feel like?
