TTC #1 and 13 months in no luck... I suffer with long and irregular cycles all bloods scans etc fine.

Looking for success stories on people conceiving to give me a boost! Thank you

It’s so funny you saying that because I literally wrote “light period cramps lasting all of 5 minutes, so light I think I might just be making it up. Certain I’m not pregnant” 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

@LouACT eeeeek 🙈🙈🙈🙈 what other symptoms did you get before BFP? When did you test?

Honestly little to none. I had a couple of dreams and I don’t dream often but still not sure that was related. My nipples were sore but they always are so no different to normal for me and also that started from ovulation which is too early for it to be caused by HCG and then it went off anyway at 9DPO! (It’s now back with a vengeance) From 10-12 dpo I had some pangs of pain when I moved suddenly like a quick muscle spasm and I noticed some watery CM but that went away after a couple of days around 9 and 10DPO (side note though wow I’ve got a lot of it now! Sorry TMI). I first tested in the evening of 11DPO which was a BFN but I did an LH test on a whim which came back with quite a strong test line which I thought was odd and then I tested positive in the morning of 12DPO.

@LouACT really interesting - I feel like you always notice things more when you are actively trying to find it but then convince yourself it's nothing!

So far all I've had is this headache and the odd very light period pain but I feel like I had this last week. TMI but my nipples feel sensitive (normal for me again) and CM is dry!

My BBT only drops the day before AF as well so it's really annoying I get my hopes up until the very last second 😩

I really really hope this is the month! It's my OH birthday next week too so already planned a lovely surprise way of telling him!

10DPO and BFN as expected 😩

@LouACT I know I shouldn't be testing this early and it could still happen but with the no symptoms really I just think I'm out!

I'm in the same boat with irregular cycles, sounds very similar to yourself, have you contacted your GP to get the ball rolling for further help? Has your OH had sperm analysis done? Only reason I'm asking is I waited and tried for over a year before getting help, another year down the line I'm not waiting to start IVF due to male factor infertility. I wish I had reached out for help earlier to be honest! Good luck OP and sending you baby dust

Yes I've had blood tests and a scan for PCOS etc and all came back fine! OH has a sperm test booked in for the beginning of Nov but I was hoping we wouldn't need it! Looking more likely now....

Hi hope it's ok for me to join here too. My last cycle was 65 days, this cycle has been 60 days so far. I was religiously opk testing at least once if not twice daily but gave up about 20 days or so ago as I'd been through 2 full boxes already and was giving me more stress. Been bbt testing daily and definitely had a shift about 14 to 15 days ago but still no af as and although it's still quite a bit higher than baseline it's come down a bit Had some light pink spotting after dtd last night but nothing else. Been hcg testing daily all negative. Had bloods and scan all normal though I was over cd20 at the time and no dominant follicle so I suppose not that normal. The waiting is so frustrating with these long cycles and feels like I've got less than half the opportunity to get pregnant in the same time period as someone with a normal cycle. My first 3 or 4 cycles off the pill were 29 to 33 days and now these last two have been crazy! Glad I'm not alone but feel so sad and frustrated so some success stories could really help!

@GHJ it sucks doesn’t it?! Did you have long or irregular cycles before you went on the pill?
I know it’s exhausting but if you can keep going with the bbt and checking cervical mucous. Last cycle I didn’t ovulate until 46 (had a few false attempts beforehand) then around cd40 CM changed and I started Opk testing. You may well still ovulate, or if you don’t this cycle then you’ll have an anovulatory bleed. I’ve just had one of these and am now hoping ovulation will happen within a more normal timescale this cycle.

Currently on cycle day 34 and no sign of ovulation yet this month according to the tests 😪

@CurlyWurly1991 I can't really remember what my cycles were like before the pill, I hit puberty young and did have some really irregular ones at times but I'm sure was regular before starting the pill. And my first few off the pill were regular. AF just arrived today, approx 60 day cycle so slightly less than last time. Hopefully this next one will be a bit more normal. I'm fairly sure I ovulated this time, had a bbt rise which stayed high, ewcm for a couple days etc and all this was about 14to 16 days ago which is about right timing I guess too. Shame didn't catch though but promising that my body seemed to do something. Hope you have a good cycle this time!

This just gave me so much hope that I too will be able to conceive one of these days. Thank You I will also be taking this advice into consideration.
