Chemical pregnancy after miscarriage ?

Hi all,

First time poster, so please bear with me...

I was diagnosed with PCOS this year after months of no periods and no ovulation. Randomly ovulated in the summer which resulted in a pregnancy, unfortunately this pregnancy resulted in a MMC at 10 weeks. Body naturally passed the sac post scan, however I did require surgery to complete the miscarriage.

3 weeks post surgery I ovulated (!!!) around 9DPO I got a faint pregnancy test, followed by a positive clear blue 1-2 weeks at 10DPO. I am now roughly 16DPO and have just had a negative digital test. I have been obsessively testing and the lines havent been progressing... hence taking the digital today.

I think this means I am having a chemical pregnancy just waiting to bleed. I've booked in for a blood test with my GP on monday to confirm...

My question is whether others who have been through this did anything different on their next cycle? Would this be considered a recurrent miscarriage?

Keen for any advice, thanks so much

Xx

3 miscarriages in a row is considered reccurant miscarriage. Keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞

@Fj27 so sorry for your losses. I had a MMC in April at 11+4 (baby had stopped developing at 7+5). I then had a CP last month. Much to my surprise, I've just got a BFP again yesterday... Obviously super early days and I'm slightly nervous to test again tomorrow in case there's no progression again but 🤞🏻

Didn't really do anything different this cycle except dtd a lot less (!!) We did peak opk day and day after (likely ovulation).

Wish you all the best - hopefully you get your rainbow baby soon 🤞🏻🌈💕
