Confused how you can feel your cervix

I know , maybe I'm utterly stupid but I often see women saying they feel their cervix to see how high low ect. Inever knew you could reach your cervix.
Even your having intercourse dosent that mean the man's D can touch it? Does rhe cervix just move out of the way? I always thought cervix was very high up and spern had to swim to reach it

Where your cervix sits varies depending where in your cycle you are. You should be able to feel it at some points. It's like a small fleshy doughnut that opens and closes again , depending where you are in your cycle

If you squat down this brings it down a bit so you can find it more easily

It moves up when your aroused and in certain parts of the cycle but I definitely still feel the man hitting my cervix during sex, especially in some positions.

I just wanted to add I find cervix checking sooo unreliable. My cervix will be really high and soft then AF will arrive the next day. Maybe mines just not doing what it should be but I won’t check mine now as it gets my hopes up for AF to arrive 🥲

I’ve tried to monitor my cervix OP but unfortunately because I’m tall I have a very high cervix (also tilted) so pretty much all cycle it’s high 🤣 I gave up on that after a few weeks ha! There’s no better way to track O than checking for EWCM around fertile week and also testing LH and BBT.

im due O in 3 days but noticed EWCM this morning, tested and BAMM got my peak so it’s handy having some tests laying around to confirm.
