Can't tell if I'm ovulating or not!

I'll keep it short because we're flying in the morning!

Ttc baby number 2 and it's been months. First child was conceived with clomid but GP refused to prescribe again.. so I got them in Spain.

Anyway I bought ovulation sticks online (cheap ones) with the idea of using clear blue ovulation test to confirm when test line gets strong. (I did same thing for first child)

As of today and yesterday the test line on the internet cheapie is as strong as the control line but the CLEARBLUE TEST HAS NO SMILEY! Iv taken the test 5 times in last 2 days. Which one should I take to be accurate??

I'm so perplexed about this and wondered if anyone else has been in a similar situation??

Is it your first day doing the clearblue one? If it is it shows up with no smiley the first day as it uses that for a base reading, then gives a proper reading the next day.
