Vfl on a freedom test, negatives on boots

Anyone had bad experiences with the freedom tests?

Took one with 2 hour hold thus afternoon and a line came up immediately. I waited till it cleared and then it was clearly there so I dipped the other in the packet, even darker line. Hard to pick up on camera but definitely there. First pic is after a few minutes. Second and third picture is of the two tests a few more minutes later.

Nipped to boots to get an early response, no frers available as usual. (Not sure what's happened to them, not been able to get them for ages)

Took one booths with same sample negative. 3 hour hold dipped other boots one negative. Chepaie freedom ones have continued to darken?

Anyone used them before?

The packets should tell you what hormone level they detect, that could be the difference?

Forgot to mention. The first boots I dipped, had a line as the dye was developing and for a few minutes later before disappearing. Looked like an indent tho tbh

Yeah, this is the perplexing part. The freedom cheapie is meant to be 25mui. The boots early, 10mui

If im honest with you I cannot see 2 lines just the one line.. I would try and do a other one tomorrow with morning urine.

Yeah it doesn't photograph very well. It's definitely there and pink on the two freedom tests. I've had plenty of wishy washy Evaps and this isn't one. There's nothing on the boots so I'm assuming the freedoms were a dodgy packet tbh

I think boots are 10mui. I trust them over every other test so if you're not seeing it on a boots test I would presume the other tests are dodgy tbh!

That's exactly my thinking. That's why I think it was a dodgy packet. Although I have to say I've never had one like this. I've had obvious indents and evaps and loads of different brands but none that have been pink, and pink immediately at that

I'm guessing you don't have a fresh pack of freedom tests?

That is so disappointing. I'm sorry this is happening you. It's really hard when you think this is it.

Nope. I've got two more boots ones ans two more other ones from the poundshop. Can't remember the brand but their green, 25mui ones again I think.

I'm actually on the mini pill but have been notoriously crap at taking it for the last two months. It took us 7 years to have pur first, then was pregnant again at 5 months PP so this would be number 3. We were on th3 fence about going for another, especially so soon. Youngest is just passed 2.

Update

Just to add more confusion I took the last boots this morning it had a line for about an hour and has now vanished 🤦‍♀️

How are you getting on @Pombears12, any update?
